Per a Reddit post. This was around Dec 2020:
MrPuckett has been (understandably) reticent to discuss it and preferred to move on with his life. Which I can respect.
But it really does not speak well of Imgur that a harassment issue against a well known site patron went so pear shaped. This is akin to... oh, let's say Youtube trying to brush harassment of someone like Markiplier or even Pewdiepie under the rug.

Supposedly an ex-imgur employee ("motherfuckingjesus"?) has been doxing and harassing him for months, through an organized campaign being ran on what sounds like, oh, just gonna guess -- Imgur, Discord, and Twitter. Maybe Tumblr or Reddit, since a quick search shows some of this crap has spilled over to the circlewank over there, too. The ex-employee been telling everyone he runs Imgur and is personally banning them and their posts, and that if they don't like it they should call his parents, his work (sounds like he had to get a new job over this -- edit: he was working for imgur and had to quit), and contact him directly.
All this apparently because he posted something wholesome, it got flagged mature, he appealed and it was un-flagged mature. Or motherfuckingjesus had some sort of freakout on him?
And apparently the Imgur CEO took the stance of the ex-imgur employee, or refused to engage their harassment policies cause it was an employee doing it, or something.

I think that's what disgusts me the most about this. Puckett didn't post mature, or edgy, or even borderline stuff. It was always wholesome, Mr. Rogers level stuff. You'd think Imgur's staff would've at least stepped in and said 'OK, this is not cool.' But evidently they just couldn't be arsed to deal with it.Update on MrPuckett in his own words....

I'm still waiting for the part when they realize that Ghana's slave markets were all run by blacks and they enslaved the people who they thought were useless or harmful to their society and figured it was more productive to exchange them for conveniences and resources.

Went to Goldsmith's once for a university project, wasn't too impressed with what it looked like. The campus was absolutely hideous (looked like a bloody high school for god's sake) and stained with genderspecials with different hair colours.

Yeah, I rarely hear it discussed, but...anybody selling their own people into slavery is going to sell the ones they want to see go. Since it was only physical qualities being purchased, the slave pool had to be big strong morons who were considered too dumb to be useful to the tribes, captive enemies, local troublemakers, etc. People who at best they could do without, and at worst, people they needed to get rid of.
They did not send their best. Which tbqh may explain why African immigrants seem to do just fine in the racist USA. Better stock, not the sort that got itself sold into slavery by its own countrymen.
