I don’t think it’s approved by health Canada. I was looking up ozempic when she first went on it and even that can’t be prescribed if you aren’t diabetic AND you have to try metformin first. There are only 3 weightloss drugs approved in Canada.

Sometimes you can get an exception Letter to cover non covered drugs/off label use- even for experimentaldrug Trials. It's handled through your provincial health care system(since provinces can vary on covering certain procedures and medications). But since she is atrociously non compliant with everything, even her snacks, I can't imagine any specialist going to bat for prescribing her for something extraodinary. Even if they could charge her $110 bucks just for writing the Recommendationletter to OHIP.(referring to Duromine/phentermine here)
