General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

When questioned about being a mama, Ina said that if she were to be one, it would be after she stopped being a vtuber as, by her own words, being a mama is a huge responsibility and she wants to do it right. So, I would certainly prefer it to happen later than sooner.
Make sense. Ina will practically disappear when she graduate. Better to become mama with her own name without attachment to Hololive and take the full credit.

So, I'm surprised no one wrote it here before, but Rushia leaked the ip of the Holoserver on stream and they had to change it.
I'm disappointed nothing came out of something like this.
EDIT: nevermind, it's a week old news ( https://twitter.com/uruharushia/status/1404455078304509953 )

It's an absolutely non-issue after all. Holo server is the "on list only" kind. The only thing IP allow people to do is check who's currently online.
Then why would they change it? Just to be safe?

Just to be safe, and why not? Feel a bit creepy if random people know when you play off-stream, right?

It was on her IG too. She REALLY likes baggy clothes, huh.

Wait..
Kiara's out for a week.
Ina is currently in a timezone that coincides with Kiara's.
Karen is on a trip for a few days.

My rrat senses are tingling

Neither Japanese nor Canadian residents can enter Austria for non-essential purposes at the moment, though

Entering from other countries which are not listed in either Appendix A or B2 is, as previously, principally not allowed apart from the existing exceptional cases such as those for EU/EEA citizens or persons who are normally resident in an EU/EEA state. In these cases, evidence of a test, a vaccination or recovery has to be provided. Persons who have been vaccinated or who have recovered from COVID-19 do not have to go into quarantine, but those persons who have only been tested do have to self-isolate. Quarantine can be ended by obtaining a new negative test result on the fifth day after entry (whereby the day of entry counts as ‘day zero’). The same applies to persons who are entering the country for work-related reasons (regardless of their citizenship or normal place of residence), but with the difference that these persons – if they cannot provide evidence of a test, vaccination or recovery – can end the period of quarantine at any time with a negative test result.

However, Karen would be able to enter the EU through Germany

Edit: And so could Ina if she was already fully vaccinated, which is unlikely considering the rate at which Canada is vaccinating its population

What applies to air and sea travel outside of the European Union (entering Germany from a non-EU member state)?

Based on a recommendation of the Council of the European Union, Germany has implemented and updated its entry restrictions. The list of non-EU countries is regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.
Germany allows unrestricted entry for residents of the following countries:
  • Albania (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)
  • Australia
  • Hong Kong (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)
  • Israel
  • Japan
  • Lebanon (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)
  • Macao (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)
  • New Zealand
  • North Maedonia (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)
  • Serbia (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)
  • Singapore
  • South Korea
  • Taiwan (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)
  • Thailand
  • USA (as of 20 June 2021, 0:00 a.m.)
In addition, the list is to be expanded to include
  • China
as soon as the possibility of mutual entry is confirmed.
Residents of other non-EU countries are only permitted to enter Germany if they serve in an important role or if they have an urgent need to travel (please see "What constitutes an urgent need for travel?") or if they are fully vaccinated (please see “What rules apply for fully vaccinated people?”). A person is considered a resident of a country if they have their domicile or habitual residence there. A person is specifically considered to have their domicile in a country if they have spent the past six months there.
These entry restrictions do not apply to German citizens or members of their immediate family (spouses, children under 18, parents of children under 18).
EU citizens and citizens of Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland and the members of their immediate family (spouses, children under 18, parents of children under 18) are exempted from the entry restrictions.
The same applies to citizens of non-EU countries who have a current long-term residence permit from an EU or Schengen country and their immediate family members, as long as they comply with passport and visa regulations.
First-time entry by citizens of non-EU countries, however, is only permitted if they demonstrate that one of the exceptions to the entry restrictions applies to them, that is, if they are residents of a country who are allowed unrestricted entry into Germany, or if they are fully vaccinated (please see “What rules apply for fully vaccinated people?”) or if there is an urgent need for the entry (see “What constitutes an urgent need for travel?”). Regarding entry by family members, see also “What special conditions apply to entry into Germany by family members who are nationals of a third country that is not on the save list?

Maybe someone at Cover still thinks there's money to be made in West Taiwan. Well, every company that does business with chairman Mao learns their lesson, and it's not like we didn't warn them.
A quick little reminder for everyone who, for some reason, is still suspecting that Cover is trying to get back into China's good graces:
https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtualYoutubers/comments/jzkaqu/chinas_national_radio_and_television/

These new rules were implemented not long after Hololive completed pulled out of the mainland. The starting ground was tenuous enough as is for their own operations (I've suspected that the reason for bizarre happenings like the miscommunication between Cover and HoloCN announcing that they'll be keeping their avatars or Aqua's Bilibili-exclusive song being leaked early, was deliberate on the part of CN's staff going rogue in order to gain leverage), so the amount of additional red tape they would have to cross now would make an already-proven business dud even more difficult to control and less attractive, especially since Coco's original antis are already moving onto Fubuki as their new target (by trying to suggest she is forming cliques within Hololive so she can usurp Yagoo as the new head of Cover, but that is a completely different story). Not to mention that the girls themselves would be equally reluctant after having no doubt received a pep talk from Coco behind the scenes to always strive to push the limit. You can make the argument that their own management is already stringent enough, but it's much easier to comply with rules that will only give you a light slap on the wrist at best as opposed to the full brunt of China's censorship regulations.

Something else to note is that I doubt Cover has yet to forget that it was a mainland employee that was responsible for canning that planned sponsorship with Asus.

Damn, this DBD collab stream with the birthday shark is nice and honestly, it feels like a dream collab. Roboco being eigo jozu, Gura being engaging, Risu called Gura a senpai (not sure if its her or Anya), and Anya acting like an apprentice to Gura.

edit: Chikubi power!??
edit 2: Nut squirrel can't actually be this cute?

The sponsorship happened anyway, Botan has been shilling Republic of gamers since a while ago

Mori is only gonna be gone until Tuesday and she is gonna have also another trip the end of next week but she is gonna stream from her hotel that day.

Has anyone logged in to mildom without using a VPN?
I'm a Eurofag and I haven't had to use one to log in or purchase their proprietary coins. Though the website is shit sometimes in general. Either slow or sometimes it'll just loop me back to the login screen after I log in and I have to resort to using another browser. But the latter usually fixes itself after a couple of days.
