Absolutely non. There were a few 'vandalised' 5G towers near me and around England, all in the span of a few weeks of one another and all 1st generation. I saw a tower get installed near me and within a few days it was 'vandalised'. The problem is, to vandalise it, you have to climb a 20ft+ smooth, metal pole, break in to the brain-pod on top, then pour in fuel and set on fire. The mast, and others i saw in the news, had no visible damage from the outside, as if the fire had happened from the inside.

Now though? 0 5G masts are being vandalised. I don't even hear of it anymore. Not even the conspiracy theorists are parroting 5G causes cancer-brainaids.

From people I know who have taken the vaccine, they haven't been exactly fine either, everyone's been complaining of symptoms after the first and/or second jab. Some people have had to take time off work for it, or they got the vaccine on a Friday so that they're only ruining their weekend.

I've heard the same, but these problems aren't captured. Most vaccines make you feel a bit rough because you're injecting the virus in to you. These new vaccines seem to kick everyone in the arse from 1 day to a week.

And if they're talking about a third jab, doesn't that indicate this may go on forever, especially considering all the spooky scary variants popping up? What's that, guaranted feeling like shite (or even clotting, brain zaps, dying) every year for the rest of your life? Just so fatty boombatty can keep on piling the burgers on? Nah mate.

Yeah it's bollox. It's another reason i don't trust the vaccine because nobody can make up their goddamned minds what it does, how effective it is and how much it changes anything. You still have to mask up and social distance if you've had the vaccine, can still test positive for C19 (skewing the testing figures...) and you can still end up in hospital? What's the point in the vax then?

Now they're saying 3 jabs, or mixed jabs, or even boosters ( thought that's more likely Pfizer being stingey cunts wanting to make more money).

Worse still, we we were told to lock down, wear a mask and socially distance to save granny, all the while stuffing our faces with mcdonalds and fast food because they can stay open for reasons. Yet the NHS is 1.2 million operations behind, mental health issues have gone through the roof and the long-term diseases like diabetes and heart disease (two biggest killers after cancer) will kill 10's of millions in the years to come, exacerbated by eating fast food and sitting on your arse for 6 months.

All of this because government and big business all decided that saving granny was important. The same businesses that don't give a single fuck about their employees, customers or general public, who have proven time and time again that they don't care, have now all decided to crash their bottom line because of a cold?

Over the last few years, I've been listening to various people talk about postmodernism, poststructuralists, people who don't believe in objective facts or reality. All very odd and the worry is these people getting into positions of power, using this ideology to make decisions.

This view means that they believe a geocentric solar system is no more valid than a heliocentric one. One was true in the past. The other is true now. Neither one is more true than the other. You scratch your head at how they can be trained to think that.

Horrifyingly this last year has now revealed that large sections of society have seemingly been indoctrinated in this type of thinking. They haven't gone down the ideological routes to make them postmodernists etc. It seems they have just been trained to think in a manner that accords to these ideologies. "This is true now."

I wonder if the ease of looking up facts online, somehow migrated to opinions and all areas. People just go online to find out what is true. it doesn't matter if it was different last time they looked it up. They just accept what is the accepted truth now.

Is that so? I started following this thread at the very start of the pandemic but only briefly - came back once I learnt from a thread in A&N about the lab leak, so I think I've missed a lot of information. It's ridiculous that without the farms I wouldn't have known about any of this.

If they didn't start out with two jabs in mind from the get go, they just figured it out along the way, then it's not been researched enough, plain and simple.

I feel bad that I parroted the media bollocks to my mom about the vaccine being fully tested. She's fine and probably should have got it regardless, but still.

What has happened to people thinking critically about things? It just feels like the extent of what people know is restricted to headlines, and if the media consensus is X then it must be X. Has it always been this way, and I'm only just noticing, or are things worse now?

Whether you knew it or not, if you got your COVID vaccine in California, your medical record of it went to the state of California, which keeps a database on it.
According to KCRA News:

California officials on Friday announced a way for residents to access their COVID-19 vaccine records digitally. The records, which can be used to gain access to businesses or events that require proof of full vaccination, can be found by going to myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov. "The tool is a convenient option for Californians who received a COVID-19 vaccination to access their record from the state's immunization registry systems," the California Department of Public Health said in a news release. The state health department recommends that Californians still hold onto their paper cards from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

How many people knew that when they got their COVID vaccine that their medical records of it would be accessible like that. According to the California State Department of Health:

The State of California's Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record (DCVR) Portal allows Californians to download their COVID-19 vaccination record. In order for you to obtain your record:

• COVID-19 vaccination information must have been submitted to the California Immunization Registry (CAIR2, SDIR, and RIDE) by your vaccination provider
• All the information you enter into the DCVR Portal must match your record in the registry

Do they have vaccine records for other stuff? Worth looking at, as well as other kinds of medical records, but that's for later. The news report video, here:

It did seem to drop off a cliff at some point, reporting on 5G conspiracy theories. So there's no actual proof they were vandalised? It is just the media & government's say so that this is what happened? What's new, I guess.

All the pictures i saw in papers and on the BBC news site, just looked like they were burned out, like how speed camera look after they have been burned out. The difference is, these 5G masts are often on the sides of roads, or on private property. Then to scale the big buggers requires a cherry picker or crane, i can't see how one could shimmy up it.

Like you said, it has dropped off a cliff, and the 5G conspiracy theory is only trotted out now and then as a cudgel to discredit people who go against the narrative.

Edit. My workplace doesn't care about vaccines, but a number of my colleagues this week got the first one. I'm a woman, and I've come on suddenly and extremely heavily, and three weeks early this afternoon. Has anyone heard of this? Two of my female colleagues have had this happen, but they've had the vaccine. I have not had it, and won't.

This is extremely out of character for me and goes way against how I am normally. This has never happened to me in the whole time I've been getting periods. I know it's TMI but there's not really anywhere I can ask about this.
