If it is one of the tranchers behind these e-mails then I don't think that Bonnie was in on it since he wouldn't have resorted to threats of his own so quickly if he'd known it was intended to be an opportunity to show off the peace-loving farmers and workers of the tranch being victimized by violent fascists.

What I gather from this is that the Tranchers overstepped their bounds, one of the neighbours complained because they don't want their farm/land/animals ruined by the trancher taint of failure and incompetence, and Penny and the other ogres went there to aggressively confront her while shoving a camera in her face. So agressively that she felt the need to threaten them to back off.

No normal neighbour immediately resorts to calling a lawyer in a simple conflict. You scared her, Penny, you liar.

This series of screenshots completely changed my opinion on the Tranch. Not only are they going to be okay, but they may be the saviors of mankind. It appears they'e cracked the code on how to recycle aluminum cans into steel. Not even the greatest alchemists of Medieval Europe could perform this type of transmogrification. Imagine the possibilities. Nuclear waste could become cancer medication. Exhaust from smokestacks at coal power plants could be captured and converted into fairy dust.
