It's so easy to solve the student debt crisis. Just institute a program where people with student debt can dedicate four years of their life to something like public school teaching. Four years of public service for four years of debt being relieved. Easy.
It's really sad when you see some young kid wearing a mask in a store, usually accompanied by a fat mother with a mask. The kid is obviously being raised by a crazy woman and isn't getting the opportunity to catch what will be to them a harmless disease. It's tragic we're going to kill lots of kids and babies and cause them lasting consequences to "save" them from a glorified cold all so we can make the same guys who created the opioid epidemic some more money.
An uncle of mine is vaccinated but when my parents went to visit the other month he demanded everyone wear a mask and socially distance because he knew my parents watched too much Tucker Carlson/boomer wrongthink and weren't vaccinated. It's sad, since he's an actual doctor and is a smart guy. If you have the vaccine, why should it matter anyone around you isn't vaccinated or not wearing the magic face talisman? I'd think a doctor would be able to answer. They once were like 40-50 years ago, and then they succumbed to an insane amount of special interest groups and pure lunatics. The West Coast Liberal is just pure "muh feels", even more than the East Coast Liberals. In the end, it's the same reason why a place full of agricultural potential and mineral resources like Latin America, the rural South, or Africa is poor--the wealth is utterly mismanaged. It's fascinating to see California and these tech centers end up similar to places like Brazil with endless amounts of serfs (of diverse races) and a few oligarchs, although it's closer to a shitty place like early 20th century Alabama or Mississippi or the US South in general since the government and oligarchs deliberately stoke racial tensions for their own benefit.
If it was only there, sure, it is bad for them and a great waste of opportunity and prime real estate, but it is the place (along with New York city) that basically sets the culture and trends for the planet, not to mention the liberal voters who are running from their own policies spread that mentality to the other Southern states.
