I’m looking forward to seeing the rejection amd evolution process of this bridge piercing.
It’s technically a surface piercing so they’re tricky in general.
Caking makeup around it is the BEST way to make a surface piercing reject and the second best way is touching it with dirty (grimy junkie) fingers.
If we start seeing the Red Line of Doom (which indicates the bar underneath is starting to push out) that’ll be the end of it.
Plus bridge scarring can be nasty after years, even if it heals well.
And it can also heal crooked and that has nothing to do with the original placement and all about aftercare and how that body heals.

I also can't think of any other times where she has called him out for specific actions. She seems very keen on keeping up the 'our love is magical and our lives are wonderful because of it' facade so this seemed like an interesting peek behind the curtain to me. My guess is that her sharing it is the new part, but that he says this shit during fights at least occasionally. After seeing how they act during conflict eith the social worker, I'm guessing they both yell insults and obscenities at each other when they argue. He might have said something more hurtful/memorable than usual that time, but I'd be shocked if that was the first time he called her fat.

She does seem to be drifting away from her puppy love fantasy, and I have two basic theories as to why. The first is that she's got a man on the line. Maybe the ex she keeps talking about, but unless they are making plans to see each other I'm guessing it's someone more physically accessible. After being codependent for so long, I think a prospective relationship will need to include new housing for her. Some guy inviting her over to do drugs and not making her leave the next day could probably work for her.

I can't find the blog posts, but she has mentioned in the past that during their fights he will call her names and verbally abuse her. It's not too unlikely that he has hit her as well.. I mean when you have two drug addicts living together with their mental illnesses unchecked, fighting is a daily occurrence. And now that they're trying to be sober, it's going to get worse.

As other members have theorized, I too believe she's probably setting up something behind the scenes to leave Lurch. Especially after her rape, I feel like there's a lot there that Luna doesn't want to mention because it involves Lurch pimping her out. I don't think she's copying anything or anyone, honestly. If you look at the images in post #4,839 of this thread, which are "oldish" (so I'm assuming from last year? Or earlier, don't know to be honest) it sounds like Lurch isn't, and, much to everyone's utter shock, never has been Prince Charming at all; Luna is simply hell bent on polishing that turd.

Until she actually writes something in public -- and not in DMs or some hidden blog -- about how badly he treats her, I wouldn't bet on there being trouble in paradise.

Luna is approaching her mid 20’s, what is she now, 23 or 24? I know her brain is Swiss cheese from all the drugs, but she is reaching the age where your adult brain is fully developed, and the human body is incredible with what it can tolerate and thrive in, so she probably still has some kind of function left in there. When you reach 25 or 26, even if you’re a BPD junkie, your rose colored glasses are yanked off and you realize things and relationships you romanticized as a 22 year old are actually terrible.

But this is big thinking here. When presented with screenshots of Lurch flirting with other women (SUCCULENT BREASTS I always laugh when I think about him typing that) Luna didn’t care. Strip-mall lawyer types will do the "we don't get paid unless you do" thing for dog bites- if they think there's a chance you'll collect. I am an internet idiot and not a lawyer but Lurch will have to prove the dog bit him (and it isn't some other injury), that he wasn't lurching on their property, and that he suffered damages (medical bills, was out of work, whatever). Are there any witnesses? If not, it's just his word against theirs.

They're probably fantasizing this will net them $10,000+. In reality, it will probably get $0-600 before the lawyer takes a cut. I doubt Lurch ever went to a doctor or can prove he missed any kind of work. Is he going to argue pain and suffering? That won't net much. Getting bitten by a dog sucks and the whole process sounds frustrating and stupid but that's the way it goes.

Luna and Lurch act so put-upon and entitled that I'm sure they think this will be an open and shut case.
