more sleep isn't depressive if it's just for a short while and in exchange for other activities, if you only sleep 3 hours a day at some point you either take a break to recuperate or keel over. same as sleeping during the day, it doesn't necessarily mean she sleeps at night too (not every job is 9-5), and some people can handle it better or even prefer it. there are people who only sleep 2x 2-4 hours because it gives them more hours being awake without fucking over their health.

I feel like many of the older ones (Gen1 and Gen2) are not that well known either or popular (sure there are exceptions). Hololive started to get really popular on Gen 3. Maybe people just want to play with the shiny new thing instead of the used old one. Also the newer generations feel more open to doing collabs so you have more interesting interactions and clippable moments.

You guys are forgetting the cultural aspect to this: Asian cultures don't really have this "kick out your kids when they turn 18" mentality. If anything, Asian household would have multiple generations living in a single household to help each other with living expenses and build wealth. I think certain Southern European cultures also have something similar.
