The thing about mental cases is that most people are ill-equipped to actually helping them and some of them are predisposed to trying to off themselves because they really don't know any alternatives. In this case, it's learning how to deal with criticism and being told "no." But let's face it: If his parents didn't really teach him about dealing with those things, then it shouldn't be surprising that he became a drama queen.

Thats true, i feel like those not equipped with proper coping skills or serious mental illness are ticking time bombs sometimes. Sometimes you can do all you can for others and they still feel worse and worse and spiral out of control, it is very sad when it happens personally.
