This might be a hot take to some people (especially on twitter reading this) but byuu was kinda overrated as an emulator dev, people before him and people after him will and have more advances to shit. Not like he learned everything from looking inwards anyway. Emulation is a team effort even if people aren't working directly together. This cycle accuracy shit doesn't matter to anybody but the >%1 of fellow autismos doing it for fun. Don't forget he kept trying to strong arm his .sfc shit to everyone as well (also because he was autistic). He'll be a footnote to most people like that dolphin emu tranny that offed himself awhile back.
