Its not much of a mass shooter if it maybe possibly killed one person....WTF kinda tard shit is this?
Alot of the Helldump stuff about users getting awarded for having "confirmed kills" is also being attributed to Kiwifarms. Its very interesting to see a perversion of facts happen infront of your eyes. What Twitter thinks KiwiFarms is
- An alt-right message board
- An organized terrorist group
- A neo-nazi safe space
- A website dedicated to killing LGBT people (no joke)
- Has a higher body count than mass shooters
Also apparently "joking about suicide can get your website shut down" if that's the case the entire internet should stop existing.
They really expect Desantis to save the day? The guy they literally consider to be an altright Nazi?
I'm willing to give Dear Feeder a little bit of latitude in his discussion methods after being randomly contacted in the middle of the night by a guy trying to emotionally blackmail him into taking down a long-dead thread by threatening to kill himself while simultaneously offering an inordinate amount of money for it. I re-read the emails just for this post, and Nool didn't even really seriously entertain the idea of receiving the money and pointed out that receiving such a transfer would be impractical and make him feel guilty. At what point did money have to enter the equation? I can at least accept the reasoning that Null would not want to set a bad precedent by deleting a thread just because someone made a threat, but you're acting like Null was obligated to take Near's delusions about working for Null or accepting his life savings as payment seriously when neither of those things have to be on the table to delete the thread.
This Gary Parker seems like a stand up guy who’d come through for us.
Naw man, this is a forum about farming kiwisHello, yes it is I, the internet psychological terrorist. Is this the website where we brainwash trannies into neck rope?
Oh no, i heard she has direct connections to the LIGHTBRINGER.Looks like we got someone with a big following mentioning it.
His 4D chess move: pretends to kill himself to kill his online life, takes his money and starts over somewhere else. Maybe vilifies KF for good measure.
It gets deeper tho. I am quite into retro emulation, as I find it interesting to see the progress of emulation over time. From dissonant earrape in ZSNES 0.150, the half semitone higher pitched audio in ZSNES 0.7xx-1.1x and contemporary SNES 9X versions, to the moment where the audio emulation was finally figured out in SNES9X 1.53.Emulation is cool, but it's defiantly super autistic to get into it. There's nothing wrong with having some autistic hobbies as long as you aren't a sped.
With Trump gone, they need a new target. guess he'll do.
OH GOD! OH FUCK!
And when the Gay Bully Gambit doesn't work are they going to kill themselves too?
Welcome. This place is also a complete shithole like Reddit but atleast you can say nigger without having to show your N-word license.Hello guys, "former" redditor here!
Guess who got banned for asking in a very polite and reasonable manner "Yes, but is it actually dead?" on r/emulation? THIS GUY!
Fuck you r/emulation mods, you are daft cunts for what it's worth.
You have a license?Welcome. This place is also a complete shithole like Reddit but atleast you can say nigger without having to show your N-word license.
On the other hand, if he really killed himself, the local goodwill (or japanese equivalent, if he brought his collection with him) is about to be a snes goldmine.A couple of thoughts I've had while reading this thread:
According to the OP in the original thread, we know that people have donated rare SNES cartridges to him over the years. (In fact, he received media attention when he mailed cartridges in shitty packaging causing USPS to initially lose his box.) We also know he's been accused of "dump hoarding" -- where he posted the hashes of the ROM files but not the ROM files themselves.
What's the most valuable thing he owns? It's not the Japanese apartment. It's not the bank balance. And it certainly isn't a few bottles of HRT and a nylon rope. It's that cartridge hoard. A cartridge hoard consisting of rare games that people donated to him with the request that they be preserved for posterity. Now, what if he didn't feel like doing that anymore and wanted to sell these cartridges to private collectors? If word got out that he was doing that, then the backlash would be immense. And with a dwindling Patreon he would certainly have a financial incentive to sell. (Interestingly, he never sent his CV to Null when he asked for it -- which would have detailed his work history and give us a good idea of what his net worth truly is.)
However, what if the world thought he was dead and the KF thread was removed? Without the KF thread on search results, the existence of the cartridge hoard is no longer front and center. And with Byuu presumed deceased -- then perhaps no one will think twice once an undumped "Pachinko Fan Shouri Sengen" copy hits the auction sites.
There's two other things concerning his suicide note that I found odd:
1) Why didn't our game preservationist appoint some kind of successor? I'd be more inclined to believe he went through with it if Becky Gerber receives a poorly-wrapped box containing his cartridges -- assuming USPS doesn't lose it of course.
2) Byuu's excuse for not posting the ROM files was that he would be sued or arrested for infringement. It's kind of hard to sue dead people. Why not throw a torrent out as one last thank you to his fans?
The whole thing is very odd. It will be interesting to hear what Byuu has to say when he's ultimately discovered.
I find it very entertaining the amount of twitards trying to act all cool with their "Cyber Security Professional" title and reports but fucking go on the defensive if someone mentions suicide without censoring it because triggered. You can't even fucking handle the internet.
