The point is that he gave Null an option that he said would prevent him from killing himself and Null chose not to take that option.
That is the key thing here. Not the culpability of Kiwifarms as a whole. The culpability of a specific someone who could have possibly stopped it. I've come to realise I'm not a good person, and I need to atone. The alt-right pipeline has directly caused me to become the chud I am now, it started with Sargon, progressed to Peterson which then led me here.

Do I care? Why is it so unlikely for even a local newspaper to report on this? I'd understand if it was just some rando like you guys have said, but Byuu himself has made it so that's not the case anymore. Hell, I think it's more suspicious for them not to report on this now.

The point is that the stuff that's happening here or on twitter or over at Kotaku has zero effect on the daily news reporting local to that area. The supposed causes of a quiet alleged suicide don't change the newsworthiness for local residents. It's a different kind of reporting than a general story being run about a suicide supposedly caused by online bullying, where the locality doesn't even enter into it. Because it would end up falling into neither category over there in Japan then any chance of a story happening just gets lost in the mix.
