The cocaine might very well be exacerbating things, but the math don't lie. Without some additional mitigating factor, there's no way she's burning enough calories to lose 10 lbs in two days. In fact, a combination of coke/meth AND a serious illness is actually the most likely explanation here. Neither on its own should be having this dramatic an effect.

But I could be wrong. The important thing to remember here is that lying isn't unusual for either Chantal or for coke fiends, so while everything's coming together in one sense, it should be taken with a grain of salt in other senses.

Exactly. Just like she would have the ‘woe-is-me, I have to get help for my eating disorder‘ videos every month or two, before this year, she will also snap back into wanting the overindulgence again (this time coke).

The Farms is the ONLY place that posts page after page after page of good solid health advice for Chantal, during every step of her maddening descent. Every person has posted at least once about recipes, workouts, substituting foods that will help her stay satiated and not binge...plus resources for addiction counseling, eating disorder clinics, etc.

Well tbh in her case it MIGHT BE healthier to be addicted to cocaine instead of food. And I'm going to be very mad if her channel gets taken down because people report her.

It really. I say this because in order to keep the weight off she would need to stay a coo cone addict permanently because her relationship with food will not have really changed. Plus, while she has lost, she admitted she hasn’t taken her blood thinner in ages. She has a history of blood clots, has t2 diabetes, severe mental illness, and fatty liver. I pebbly forgot something but I think you get the point that sustained drug use likely would eventually have quite an adverse reaction to her current conditions.

I agree and disagree at the same time. You're assuming she tells her doctor about this. I don't think her doctor watches her YouTube channel, and even if some idiot clipped the video and somehow found her doctor and sent it to them, they'd surely do a lot of follow up before just taking it at face value and labelling her an addict. Of course, if she ever gets around to going to a doctor about her unexplained weight loss, their investigation (i.e. bloodwork) might very well reveal her coke habit whether she wants them to know about it or not. Just another reason for her to avoid the doctor, naturally.

What's more damning is her documented history -- documented by hospitals, I mean -- of flagrant non-compliance. She staged a mental health crisis to jump the queue to get into the eating disorder clinic, then told her therapist and dietician to fuck off after one or two sessions. Knowing the Canadian healthcare system, that's an enormous problem and will make it extremely difficult for her to be taken seriously for years and/or until she's demonstrated compliance in other areas. Which she hasn't and won't. She won't even take her blood thinners or remember to refill her Ozempic on a regular basis.

I called it back at the beginning of this drug chapter that she could easily use her drug use to get immediate access to addiction rehab...something she didn't seem to be able to do for her food addiction. Only a fool would do it, but she was dumb enough to insist on pysch ER admitting her for her block of cheese emergency. Funnily enough she mentioned that now she'd now get access to addiction services in her livestream today.

Her therapist and dietician were likely not even medically qualified. Intuitive eating "therapists" and "nutritional coaches" just pay for an intuitive eating course and once completed hang up their shingle. A rehab facility on the other hand, will be trading medical information with GPs, and at that point her medical record is forever tainted with the drug addict brush. Sure non-compliance is a negative on someone's health records, but nothing tops drug addict for a red flag when seeking medical help.

@Barbarella, initially she mentioned $1k for what I thought she said was 1kg....knew either I'd misheard or she was still off her face lying. I'm not even in that world but knew it couldn't be right. Later she mentioned 7g...I'd don't know if that makes sense to those in the know.
