I already said earlier in thread but, if KF was shut down for good, what stops us from "bullying, doxxxing and harassing" them on other sites? Bans won't work because socks and proxies so it would basically move to their Twatter doorsteps. Also since they advocate an investigation, Feds will fuck you over more than us since how many are animal/kiddie fuckers, mentally unwell, committed crimes, etc. So trannies are in a lose-lose situation. Bit of a thunker here.

Autistic people sometimes develop "special interests". Sometimes that's a fixation on their puppy, sometimes it's a hobby like collecting lego. Near's fixation was that Bahamut Lagoon game. He was so fixated on it that he smuggled a motherboard to his grandma's ranch and then constructed a burner computer just so he wouldn't have to touch grass. It was his entire motivation for learning Japanese, moving to Japan, learning programming and then programming BSNES. He off and on tried localising it for 23 years, starting over 5 times.

He started working on the final version in October 2020 and then he released it in February 2021, pending a few minor bug fixes. I don't know when he finished bug fixes, but it would be within the last four months.

When autistic people are deprived of their special interest, they can spiral. You see this sometimes with autistic kids whose puppy dies, or who lose their favourite toy. They have a full on meltdown and everything is overwhelming and horrible. Since Near completed his localisation efforts, he basically destroyed his special interest ("localising Bahamut Lagoon"). Is it possible that this is the root cause of what set him off? Whether that's going into giant freakout mode about his KF thread, or actually killing himself (if he did)?
