Usually I hate to bring up personal details like this on this forum, but this time I believe I have to.

I am a transgender person of color. I live in a society that actively wants me dead. Up until now, I’ve drawn emotional support from the community here at Kiwi Farms. It's the only thing that has given me the strength to survive daily encounters with transphobic and racist violence. Unfortunately, this DOS attack is preventing me from accessing the community of support I need to survive. I am asking the person or persons behind the DOS attack to make the decent decision and stop contributing to the marginalization of queer and trans bodies.

Update, I haven't gotten a message back. However, I did some digging on his website; I am genuinely interested in faceting gemstones. Who the account is following doesn't appear to have anything of note. His website is offline, but it is archived in Way Back. I'm not sure if looking Japan will turn up anything at this rate, not that we should stop looking there.

A few users have said that there wouldn't be an obituary, or even a report on it even in a local newspaper because of privacy laws, and the fact that suicides are so common there. They completely ignore how bizarre this situation is, and how Hector was conveniently able to ask the Japanese police about it despite being a gaijin stranger, but given the fuckton in consistencies here, I think it's a safe bet that Byuu might've actually never lived in Japan at all.

I think we should keep looking around the area in America some other users have turned up. We shouldn't disregard Japan entirely, but this seems like a better lead at this point.
