I know someone on a different site with a paid Pimeyes account. I'll DM him and see if he'll hook us up.
based, better come through or we'll sacrifice you to the ddos harvest.

the best part about all this is that until byuu maybe faked his own death we didn't even have anything close to this amount of info.

Lost in all this, someone mentioned in the Randy Stair thread that Null has deleted threads before, at least two. If this guy had taken the approach of being polite with his request and used "please", "thank you" and acknowledged past idiocy all this drama could have been avoided. I may be a new user, but it seems to me if the thread really was that inactive and nobody would notice he might have been able to get Null to at least think about it.

So much drama could be avoided if more people would take the approach of being calm and reasonable instead of "DO THIS RIGHT NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW!!!!!! OR ELSE!!!!!"

Here is a quick note that might have gotten him somewhere:

Dear Null,

I know this is a lot to ask, but I am wondering if you could please delete my thread. I know I was foolish in the past such as [insert example here]. However, I am trying to move on and forward with my life.

Please just think about it at least. Consider this, my thread has been inactive and I don't think many of your users would notice if it was gone.

Thank you,

Byuu

You attract more flies with honey than you do vinegar as they say.
yeah I can think of more than a few times when being polite and rational has at least resulted in it being put to a vote, if not successful
also some random christian site did a proper DMCA over some bible analysis they had (c) on and it got replaced with a citation

You know what also would've been weird?
If after "Byuu's" suicide gets attention from the mainstream media, Nintendo then notices about the fact that he developed an illegal SNES emulator while still living in Japan, Byuu gets an DMCA from Nintendo, and then Byuu accidentally shows himself as alive to the public.
They can't, actually. There's been laws put into place to protect emulators. At least, in USA and EU. For Japan, I have no clue.

they can send whatever blown up legal document they want. that doesn't mean it's a valid threat, but they can send just about anything they feel like typing up, wasting the money to print, and spending even more money to have their lawyers mail out.

If he is alive and really lives in Japan, he can be prosecuted as Japanese laws are much different than USA and EU ones. Granted, there was never a court case in Japan about emulators that I know of, but if game save editors and console modding is illegal by law, there is a good chance emulation is as well.

Unfortunately I have to deal with real life things, but I've been poking deeper into the WeebWars connection to this, and I found what may have led to the sudden explosion of astroturfed articles about this.

Backtracing the users trying to connect Vic to Near/Byuu via KiwiFarms I found a hive of Blue Checkmarks who have been trying to push the 'KiwiFarms directly murdered Near and are terrorists' narritive.

I'll try to add more later.

Link. I'll try to archive later. Gotta run.
Quinnae_Moon is actually not Weeb Wars, it's GamerGate. That's Anita Sarkeesian's secretary and a fake PHD student / holder.

That's what I've been thinking through this ordeal. Everything about byuu's alleged suicide just feels so... melodramatic? I don't have anyway else to describe this whole situation, you took the words right out my mouth there.
Just imagine this whole shitshow going down IRL. We Kiwis are all sitting at picnic tables in a public park, when suddenly a mob of men in dresses and lipstick that we've never met run up to us and start incoherently screaming something about us being murderers.

It's too damn ludicrous to have any reaction that isn't uproarious laughter.
Twitter is essentially the toilet of the internet, almost everything you can think of has occurred on there.
At least 4chan is aware that they're a gaggle of monkeys howling into the void. The Twatterati genuinely believe they're doing the work of the angels.

lolcow.farm. Bottom post lol

Pot calling kettle black much?

I'd say make an account here anon, but judging from this month old thread it's mostly salty banned users.

Even one admits they're too retarded to milk this place even though there's so much potential.

I'm sure it's been posted somewhere earlier before, but the one Twitter killer alone got like nine people. I'm sure it and Facebook have been used to plan plenty of murders that went unsolved. And that's not even getting into the people it's helped dogpile to death like the Night In the Woods guy and several others suspected of crimes. It's mob rule, they just want it to be their mob that rules.
that story got at least one redditor all horned-up at the thought of having a kiwi farms account being a capital offence, while completely ignoring that the cyberbully in question had nine human heads in his apartment. you could find this out by reading the headline of the story they linked, not just the URL.
