I don't use social media (I mean, I have some totally blank accounts for viewing things, but I don't USE them) and I don't know a damn one of the people calling me a murderous terrorist.

But I'd sit down and listen to their opinions over a beer if the opportunity presented itself (and if they could resist punching me in the face-area for having a different opinion).

I actually enjoy when people come to the site to voice their rage. Honestly there have been more instances than you'd think where they realized we aren't the autistic illuminati or a cyberbullying cult and actually joined the community.

I mean at this point I just want /someone/ from Twitter to explain what their argument actually is, aside from one guy posting an extremely sketchy and flawed story with "dude trust me" as the source.

Byuu said they were fine with their thread before, and were by all accounts a pretty chill and intelligent person. Then they come by at seemingly complete random and say they're game ending themselves and don't even let Null talk to his lawyers before doing so. I fail to see how they're rationalizing this at all.

Lets be fair and steelman:
In Near's twitter thread he is nonspecific, stating that kiwifarms was "attacking and doxing my friends and trying to suicide bait [sic, suicide bait generally refers to pretending or threatening to commit suicide but I believe Near here means trying to drive someone to suicide] another, just to get a reaction from me." Null's email chain goes into a little more detail.

Near cited a few examples of harassment which happened offsite and blamed KF for them, all of which he gave dates for happened in 2020 and 2021 after his positive interactions with the thread. Strike 1- an anonymous user made a driveby post calling him a pedophile in discord. Strike 2- A friend of his was doxed on 4chan's /emugen/ board by a user claiming to be "from" KF, whatever that means, and that friend stopped associating with Near. Strike 3- Another friend of his was "almost" doxed "while they were suicidal" and again stopped associating with Near.

Though no dox appear in his thread and none of his friends are mentioned in it, Near claimed that he perceived these negative interactions to have begun or seriously increased in frequency and severity with the inception of the thread. Near's assertion was that he lived his life online and his e-friends are his only support network thus their loss was extremely affecting, and that he had a set of psychiatric disorders which made him highly sensitive to other people having negative opinions of him. This is what Near claims drove him to suicide and assuming any of these twitter trannies bothered to actually read his account, this is what they must believe.

Which, to be fair, if they had an active thread I could see that being a very reasonable explanation to their behavior. However the thread was dead, and on here that almost always means they've done nothing too crazy lately and honestly at first blush it seemed most people respected Byuu for how skilled and cool-headed they usually were.

This community, until the faux game ending (at least I hope Byuu is still alive) had almost nothing but positive things to say aside from edgy memes about them being a trans furry.

First, suicides aren't found within hours without a tip off. Which means he knew how to contact the police but just let him die, or the police wouldn't know he was dead in order to confirm shit.
