The thing is, what Near really wanted is the thread off the internet completely, which wasn't possible. I doubt there was much harassment coming directly from kiwi farms. The "harassment" was simply the post existing. If it was removed on kiwi farms, he would have gone after archive.is next. Then once archive.is doesn't remove it he would have blamed archive.is for his death which would sound even more ridiculous than it is now. Even if archive.is removed the post he would have found the same pages on archive.org or common crawl or some other archive, beg for deletion, then blame it on whichever archive keeps the postings.

Because it doesn't fit the narrative that they're being oppressed and persecuted. They want to use suicides by people with threads here as a reason to get the site shut down. If thay happens then they have a precedent for getting all sites they don't like shut down for "harassment" and "hate speech". What they fail to realize is that in the US hate speech laws would be unconstitutional (as ruled by the Supreme Court), and even other countries with freedom of expression like Canada that do have hate speech laws are pretty strict about what is considered hate speech which is public incitement of genocide or violence against people of visible groups (any protected grounds as far as discrimination is concerned), and spreading hateful propaganda like statements that "Jews are evil and made up the Holocaust for sympathy", which is in quotes because it's a statement that was made by a school teacher to students and said teacher got convicted for (and Cuckstin Douchedeau's government is trying to pass a bill that makes the internet considered a public forum in regards to hate speech so I have to cover my ass just in case and should really start using my VPN, but said law would make SJWs here seethe when they realize they can't say "kill all cis people" on Twitter anymore). Unless you're in a total shit hole being called an idiot on the internet isn't considered hate speech.

The same people who claim this is a harassment site actually harass people over unproven sexual misconduct allegations or allegations of abuse, and will even dig through social media posts to attack people they disagree with which is exactly what they say makes this a "harassment site", but unlike the majority of us here they actually are guilty of harassment.
