I hope everything about Coco’s graduation sets the standard for future hololive graduations. Her name isn’t taboo, her streams are still up, she got to spend time with everyone in her graduation stream, and had tons of collabs in the weeks leading up to it. And the fan support, it was unreal and I’m sure she really appreciated that.
Subaru and Marine both have big streams soon and they’ve got a tall task ahead of them, having to deal with the Coco hangover we’re all feeling.

Hopefully it does become the main protocol/gold standard by which the others can graduate from Hololive whenever that does happen in the future, because I thought they nailed it well for the first official graduation of such an impactful figure for the company and V-tubers at large.

Not yet...no it does not. Sounds weird getting attached to a group of people playing anime characters and doing youtube, but damn was it surprisingly emotional today. Just felt down today. Guess hearing women cry and get upset/emotional over one of their co-workers/friends moving on to do something else with their life as well as knowing there isn't going to be any more content from her is somewhat bittersweet.
At least they had they wit to leave all her stuff up (minus membership only which will go away at some point), so there is always the incentive to go back and do a dive/revisit of her content, as well as support/watch whatever content she decides to do in the future under kson/whatever new persona, if she does.

Same, I like to think my love for the VTubers is akin to people's love for celebrities that a lot of people grieve for when they die, like Robin Williams and Stan Lee. And I suppose that's still a parasocial relationship but I'm fine with that, so long as I don't get creepy and think they're my friends.

I hope Fubuki's breakdown puts things into perspective.
I'm sure some people may find the reaction to Coco's graduation overdramatic or possibly schizo but it really does feel like we lost a a legend who was debatably at their Prime.
I just hope that the girls can muster through this moment.

I don't think I'm too broken up about it. People move on. Coco seems happy with her decision and I can respect that.
But this silly little thing hit waaay harder than pretty much anything else other than Kanata breaking down during her letter reading.
Edit: Also, seems the reason why Gura wasn't in the EN segment with the other girls was because of tech issues. Apparently you can hear her during part of the group segment and Coco said "They're disappearing again" when Kiara disappeared.

Kudos to the superchatter who introduced the prospect of rogue Ame's. Now all I want to imagine is that there is a timeline that has an infinity war-like battle with nothing but Ame's coming from different timeliness.

I've often seen people wondering about membership numbers and going by your picture Coco had at least 18k by her graduation. Good lord that's a lot, those bugmen sure taught her a lesson...
