So how was everyones day during downtime?

Couldn't have come at a better time tbqh. Switched function at the current project and had to burn the midnight oil to make the handoff go smoothly.
Final conversations with my former boss and current supervisor went very well, spontaneous offer to write a letter of recommendation too. I'm pretty damn pleased with myself.

This is so fucking weird, and so fucking true. Every trans person I know in actual reality is a human being and worthy of respect. I have never interacted in meatspace with a trans person I even disliked, much less hated.

I know what you mean, a lot of LGBT friends of mine are incredibly chill, barring the occasional lusting of older men after young "meat". They're productive, well-adjusted members of society, they hate roommates as much as anyone else, one of them recently finished his first year through night school. Inane concepts like nonbinary are slipping into the national conversation and the focus surrounding gender issues and transgenders are still deflected too easily by pointing to our local far right orgs (look how bad my enemies are, this makes us venerated by comparison), but aside from some influencers and cluelesss Gen X opinion makers, no one's talking about it. It's only a matter of time, I suppose.

The American exportation of its culture and ideas have been a disaster for the Western world, etc.

Threatening suicide to get what you want has always been a characteristic of Narsassitic Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder. It is a manipulation tactic designed to guilt the opposing party into doing something they wanted. Considering his thread had been inactive for the better part of a year, its quite perplexing as to why he was doing it. If it was true mental illness, he might have been going through a sort of manic episode where he became completely paranoid. Hence the offering of the money, spending on frivolous things and believing that somehow the Kiwifarms were out to get him.

Like most denizens of this evil website, I'd never heard of this particular non-entity until now. He never generated much interest, because he never did anything interesting before this thread-necro-suicide-fiasco. He was never subjected to much scrutiny before. This will change.

I too am perplexed by his decision to raise his thread from the dead. It seems like attention seeking behavior, which is a troon characteristic. I'm not convinced that he joined the 41%, and until there is persuasive evidence offered, this is just a story about a manipulative narcissist having a mental health moment, and other manipulative narcissists trying to weaponize it.
