"Today has been VERY slow. HOPEFULLY things will pick up, I'll tweet about it as well."

He's now doing whale tweets during day streams too.
Well, he's actually over $50 given that one of the SilentBobBreakSquad has, I'm sure, already tipped.
Maybe we'll get lucky and a confused whale won't realize that money is locked and accidentally tip $100 to compensate or something.
That would be the likely reason why it doesn't get noticed until after the break...

It’s just like with the $200, increasing the goal has only made Phil more ungrateful for the money his viewers fling at him. Now one huge burst isn’t enough, he has to scream and shout for more.
I mean, considering he can get detractors to start calling $50 “slow”, I guess you can consider this a success. Just another example of how entitled and selfish Phil is.

Phil Burnell has never had authentic Italian cuisine, and has postured what he knows to be Americanized Italian cuisine as being 'authentic' for years.
To that end, I'd like to remind all of you guys that Phil claimed that New York-style pizza is one of the authentic Italian styles of pizza (What's the matter? Never heard of the Roman colony of Novum Eboracum?) and claimed that fish on pizza is an "Americanized" style of pizza and that robust authentic Italians don't eat it, never mind that one of the oldest authentic Italian styles of pizza uses fish (namely anchovies).

Dude, that's probably what he types to his paypigs to come save him:
"Sadly support has been slow so far, so if you could swing by when I get back from break in about 20 minutes it would be greatly appreciated!"

Amazing! And imagine receiving a message like this and your first reaction is 'Holy shit, Phil! I'll be there in 20! Sorry for not giving you money earlier today :('

I also love how the vest streak was 'unprecedented' and would 'never happen again' and now we've nochalantly set the standard tips goal to be $50 over the vest streak value and Phil is saying this is the value required to survive.
If the vest streak was unprecedented, how was he surviving for years prior to this? And if that's what is required, how could he not be concerned that it would never happen again?
As you pointed out, he's done a remarkable job of quietly moving these goalposts and asserting his new realities with just absolute force of will.

"Swing by". So tips are for a stream well done. But also, if you aren't watching the stream and it hasn't been actively entertaining you today, you should come by and give money.

EDIT: Someone asks 'have you ever thought about doing reaction videos' and Phil's response was 'HELL NO.'
Uh-huh?
There's a brief series called 'Phil Reacts'. So the answer would be that yes, you did.
Man, I forgot about his dumb as fuck "Phil Reacts" series, especially the one he did on Toby Turner. I think I remember watching one of Tevin's videos on that one. Asshole was rambling on about his history with Toby, the sexual assault allegations against him, and he ends the video saying he "doesn't give a fuck about Toby Turner", essentially wasting the viewer's time like the pig-roach he was and still is.

And the saps who joined his Patreon are just suckers. That's "supplemental income you see, for the people who don't expect anything in return for the money and just want to give because Phil deserves it,

Paypigs who are not watching his streams; drop what you are doing, go to his stream, give him your money, and then leave again.

And the pathetic part is - it works.
What other "business" on this planet operates like this.

"So my restaurant needs more revenue but I don't want to advertise or improve my food quality. I GOT IT! I'll go on Twitter and ask my 3 followers to come by and give me money whether or not I make food"

Phil is so lucky to have this kind of lifestyle but is so miserably lazy to waste it.

So it's pretty apparent that Dave uses PayPal instant transfer which incurs a 1% fee (versus local bank transfer which is free but can take 1-3 business days). This fee increases to 1.5% in August.

I keep flipping back and forth so wanted to see if anyone had an opinion.

If you were calculating his net income after fees, would you factor the PayPal instant transfer fee (which is completely optional) into that equation? Cause theoretically he's already received the money, he just chooses to throw extra money away for instant gratification right? If we factored in optional fees, then we might as well assess a Scopely fee on his income lol
I'd go by gross income, that's what IRS does, we know he wastes money in frivolous ways, the gross total has the mot impact when you present it.

He should just stop streaming entirely, but have OIC and the rest keep sending him regular payments. I'm sure they would be happy to do this.

You guys realize what he's doing right? Some guy isn't randomly popping in and tipping him, he's either

1) totally making the tips up from Silent Bob, One Minute Man, nocouture etc, OR

2) getting tips from someone like Jeff still, and saving them for when support is low and acting as if they came in right away.

He's seed tipping himself. He tips himself closer to the 100 dollar goal so people will be more likely to tip the remainder. It's a super common streamer tactic.

He admitted to not getting a tip from one minute man last week when he said "no tips have come in for 50 minutes!" and snowkarl or someone asked 'but one minute man tipped 10 mins ago?' and he said "oh... it's not in my feed so....."
