Not everybody who lives here is turbo-autstic about every detail of living in Japan. Sometimes you just do shit because for whatever reason, that shit has got to get done.

Worrying about the exact details of a family register is like a Jap moving to the US and wanting to know every detail about what the county clerk does with birth, marriage, and death certificates.

I can tell you watch a lot of anime. People do long commutes because their whole commute is paid for by their employer and it's tax free. Would you prefer to commute 1 hour each way to work on clean quiet trains and live in a nice house somewhere outside Tokyo or live in a tiny single room apartment in Tokyo and pay 3 times what the mortgage is on the previously mentioned house?

Yeah, the hour-long "clean, quiet commute" sounds great until you have to do it twice a day, every day. Standing the whole way, because it's rush hour or the last train and you're packed in like sardines. Smelling like them too, if its raining. This "clean, quiet commute paid for by your employer" is why capsule hotels are a thing, why 7-11 sells socks and undershirts, and why people who expect to work long-term in the city will eventually move there, or at least move closer.

The mob is constantly driven forward to more extreme behavior, all in the search of clout.

Back in the day, this lead to random negros being hung from a tree. Nowadays, it has shit like a bunch of insane Wizards of the Coast MTG simps and troons taking secret videos of The Quartering's wife, telling him they're gonna skin his new kitten alive, shattering the windows at his local tabletop store, and assaulting him at GenCon. It's funny that he says all of this yet ISIS had a major presence on Twitter for years and their account names were just sequential (@al-nusra1 @al-nusra2 @al-nusra3) for all of their major accounts. They got into the triple digits on all of the ones I'm aware of. You'd think heuristics would be able to identify it's ISIS when they share an ISIS telegram room or link to ISIS "news" articles.
