Derrick Sobodash aka D aka Sobodash isn't Byuu, he's some old fart rom hacker from the late 90s and early 2000s. Married a Chinese woman and had 2 kids and lives in China last I heard. He isn't Byuu, but he probably knows Byuu's real name.

Screwtape aka Screwtapello isn't Byuu, he's just a random furry in the emulation and rom hacking scenes, one of many.
A long time ago I wanted to hack Final Fantasy 6, and I ended up on bboard asking questions about snes9x and bsnes. I can provide a few anecdotes to help dox Byuu.
Byuu likes something called stewed raw peanuts. Not finding it anywhere was the one thing he said he disliked about living in the North. I assume it's a Southern delicacy, and he mentioned it as being a Southern dish.
Byuu complained that his parents shunned him and considered him a freak for not liking football and liking computers. He also said that they kicked him out when he was a teenager, forcing him to work overtime at fast food places to afford rent, and even then he still managed to learn C++ due to his obsession with programming. I assume that it was during this time that he became gay, possibly by dating an older gay man in exchange for housing.
Towards the end of my time in the scene, some poseur asked Byuu to host a forum for hacking some game. Byuu reacted by accusing him of wanting to trade child porn using his hardware. The poseur was an enthusiastic but naive kid who had no idea how to program, which means that Byuu was reacting to something in his head instead of the kid. Nothing this kid said was remotely related to hosting child porn, and the game was a bog standard JRPG lacking nudity, lolis, and anything untoward. It really stood out even among Byuu's normal freakouts and dork drama fights, which by the way were never ending.
The fact that Byuu was shunned by his parents and kicked out of his house for "liking computers" and "disliking football" is absurd on it's face, given how family oriented Southern culture is. His first thought when someone wanted to have his own rom hacking forum was that this kid wanted to trade child porn, which shows that Byuu is very paranoid about accusations of owning child porn and that he's been accused before. I think this means that Byuu was too creepy for his family to tolerate or that he actually tried to prey on his underage family members. Or that he was trading and hosting child porn at the time, or he knew people in the scene who were.
Bear in mind that this is just hearsay and thought experiments. But if I were you I would try to figure out people he's had beefs with in the past, and privately try to tease the details of the beefs out of him. Screen captures especially. Then verify them with other people in the scene before you show them screen caps or share details of them.
ZSNES forums absolutely loathed him, as did people at romahcking.net forums. A guy buy the name of Aerdan may know him personally. He hates Byuu.
Byuu tried to translate a few games and failed because he didn't have the skills at the time, but his behavior on their forums made everyone hate him. Look into that by cross referencing his usernames with posts on translation forums whose robots.txt prevents indexing by Google.
One of the admins or mods at Zophar.net is a convicted sex offender, you could look around there and see if anyone has a beef with Byuu and wants to share.
Old posts on rom hacking subreddits could be useful too, look for posts about things like emulation accuracy, reverse engineering, "free speech" vis a vis child pornography, SNES emulation, and SNES JRPG translations.
You should also outline Byuu's family and contact them, especially the younger members. He likely lived in the South and attended school there, you could go digging through old school photo albums in nearby libraries to find old classmates. If he did anything nasty to his younger relatives or was just too creepy to tolerate, that's where you'll find it.
You should also consider a thread on the rom hacking, translation, and emulation scenes. They are full of convicted sex offenders, pedophiles, furries, diaper fetishists, transgenders, and every freak you are used to seeing on Twitter, Tumblr, and Deviant Art. Many of them have Gelbooru accounts with shared user names from their rom hacking accounts, where they openly lust after cartoon ten year old boy asses. It is full of low hanging fruit, and if you archive much of it before you go public you can easily get hundreds of freaks who do nothing to separate their hobbies from their perversions. Many of them are also on Social Security, even when they can program in PHP, Python, and C#, which smacks of benefits fraud.
