I doubt that would be the reason, Gura's first one-on-one non-EN collab was with Anya. A bigger issue is probably inertia + not having a specific plan.

But we are also talking about STARs who don't want to seem like leeches. Roberu has talked about this and is probably why he really doesn't collab with Holos anymore and i think Oga has said this as well and he really only collabs with Fubuki.

Worried about frend, she has been streaming at weird hours this week

She couldnt sleep after Coco's graduation and was drawing her at 5am while crying, blaming herself and wondering if she had done things differently or tried harder, maybe she could have gotten Coco to stay
She cried and stopped a couple of other streams too but she deleted them immediately.
She's not in a great place right now but she's probably doing the right thing and just chilling with minecraft and movie watchalongs

I wonder how much of the 'bad singer' thing is just Ame playing it up. She sometimes sounds like a character singing badly in a sitcom, wherein it's obvious that the actor is deliberately singing poorly.

I think the bad singing was the results of having to constantly strain her voice to maintain a higher register. Coco was essentially suffering from same problem and was pretty self aware of it.

Marine was the same. Watching the graduation stream and feel like she want to quit to follow Coco. Can't sleep and end-up going to KanaCoco house early in the morning and have a talk with Kanata while Coco still sleeping. We have talked about who's the "leader" of each generation; FBK and Marine name come up. That's two pillars of Hololive being shaken to the very core while another one is leaving. If management doesn't quickly get off their asses, the mass migration is very real probability - especially for the one that doesn't exactly have showbiz aspiration nor need Hololive help to reach their dream.

I don't think FBK talking to Coco sooner will change the outcome though, even if she manage to get Coco to stay a little longer. As long as the red tape is there to limit her creativity, she'll quit sooner or later. Unless she manage to gather all the girl and unionize, I don't see how that can change. And as short as it is, Coco time in Hololive is the greatest thing ever happen to her, and she left with love for the agency and friend. That might not be the case if she's forced to stay for another year, or half a year, in the cage and spiral downward.
