Hey @esmeggs, looks like he listened to you and got himself a set of false eyelashes. Funny how that happened! He never once posted himself wearing visible lashes before, but in the video filmed just after your suggestion, he's suddenly developed a taste for them.

June 22 advice:
Olly if you're trying to go for Tilda Swinton cheekbones you should just use a light contour instead of doing shitty photoshop. Contour and highlight would look a bit better and you can even use it to make your other facial features look more feminine, or more like Contra if that's what you're going for. If you want to look like Contra it'll be a bit hard since his chin is beyond botched, but if you experiment enough with contour and highlight you can make your chin look smaller like his. You can also use contour on the sides of your nose to slim it down the way Contra does. Also I think you need to use false eyelashes or an eyelash curler if you aren't already. Absolutely do not overdo any of these things or you will look like a drag queen.

I'm not saying he's reading this thread with surprising regularity, but it really makes you .

Credit where credit is due — he looks good here in this soft lit, well styled, carefully posed close-up. The other stills from this video chilled me to the bone. Comparatively, this one is fine. The wispy hair is a good idea; it softens his craggy face.

Of course, when the zoom-out looks like this:

You remember that hair and makeup can only do so much.

That's because it's been facetuned or he's paid someone to do frequency separation retouching.

If you do the opposite to what you'd do for making a portrait photo flattering, namely up the contrast and run it through some high pass filters for sharpening, you get this:

It's not quite like for like, because his face is at a slightly different angle so it's catching the lighting differently (and it's obviously been colour corrected and lit differently, and I think taken on different cameras - the right hand one might have been one specifically used for filming).

But if you look carefully you'll not the presence of certain blemishes on the unretouched action shot compared to the uploaded picture. The skin in the retouched one is unusually smooth, but you'll also notice that the high pass filter mostly is picking up jpeg compression artifacts rather than skin texture. This is especially obvious in areas that need the detail to be conserved; look at his chin, the tip of his nose (especially compared to the bridge) and the side of his face around his hair (especially his neck); you don't want those bits to go blurry so it's easier to just mask them out and leave as-is, because normally it wouldn't be this noticeable.

If you look especially carefully you can even see where this got fucked up - the strand hanging down his face has a floating wisp stuck on his face, because isolating hair strands is hard so you just blur over them.

I'm also pretty sure he's changed the shape of some of his facial features - he's pulled out his cheekbone again, you'll spot it if you look at how the hair bends around the shape of it, which is what happens if you don't mask things out properly. The shadows on his eyeballs are also janky, I think probably because he's whitened them in post (this is a common form of retouching).

If you were an especially mean person and had access to high quality, high resolution images of someone, you can even use the high pass filter to make them look like they have a terrible skin condition.

I noticed the false eyelashes too. This is a more smokey-eye look (which is usually paired with false eyelashes) so I don't want to assume anything, but it is quite the coincidence. I was worried he would get very unflattering ones if he did follow my advice, but I think these actually look pretty good.

The nose contour in this photo looks a bit off, it's not terrible or anything but could be better imo. I looked through some photos from other videos and his makeup artist has a tendency to just draw a line down the side of his nose with contour. Maybe this application is the best that can be done with his nose shape, but if he wants a slimmer nose he should ask his MA if it's possible to apply it closer to the center of his nose, more like my edit (the second photo).

I was going to suggest using white eyeliner on his waterline, but it appears he did that for this video by himself (or maybe it was the retouching to make his eyes look whiter as @AssignedEva mentioned). I was hesitant on suggesting it because it doesn't work for everyone, but it works here so he should experiment with that for his video essay makeup.

Also I was wrong, he still views himself as bisexual since he's GAMP.

Is that leather outfit suppose to make abighoul look like a hot biker chick? How cringey.
Esmeggs, please explain to her that clothes made for men are a questionable fashion choice after you announced to the world, that you are larping as a uterus-haver. Why? Well, it highlights your manbeastiality.
Thanks.

I assumed this had all been done in one photoshoot, unless he went back to where he shot it and put everything on again specifically to follow the advice. I think he might be wearing false eyelashes in the infamous gross pic too, if you look close enough.

The more that I see these shots of Olly, the more he continues to remind me of Adam Lambert:

Granted, Adam was a glam star, but Olly can’t even pass in the most obnoxious way.

That was a shit speech and he really did go for the religious zealot overtones when these types often hate religion, especially nasty bigoted Christianity! But I suppose most of them were bowled over because he briefly pretended to be a Shakespearean actor and none of them know what an actually good performance looks like.

Of course, when the zoom-out looks like this:
That... is a man's body. He looks like a regular guy in leather with a caked up face. That posture does him absolutely no favors, beefcakes pose like that for Calvin Klein ads. Hard agree with everyone saying his new Abigail facade is more like a bitchy teacher when I see that expression and the general look of it makes me think he's arrogantly trying to fake a sense of class. Abigail is an intelligent well-dressed tease, woman philosopher, not a common whore!

Goodness gracious he's ugly. Nice 5oclock shadow my dude. Nice bulge in your pigeon poop colored onesie.
I think there's part of the AGP trans fantasy where they never really wanna commit to being a woman. The want trans to be their identity, not womanhood; I think this is why they attack TERFs so much rather than taking notes on how their supposed sisters see them.
They're always going to need that flare of masculinity to signal that they're not a real woman, they're something else entirely, but then they need to slather on all sorts of feminine signaling around it to simultaneously drown it out but call attention to it. This is perfectly encapsulated in the sorts of things they say, like "damn I hate it when my vagina barfs out blood, right gals?" I used to think it was just clumsiness on their part but I've come to believe this is integral to this whole show they're putting on.
