Why does Phil keep shouting that Mario Ghalf is a "SUPPOSEDLY COMPETITIVE GAME?. It's Mario Golf, literally a game for children. He's just been wrecked by little Timmy straight home from school in the one hour screen time he's allowed on his switch per day before he has to do his homework. Meanwhile Phil plays games as a full time job and is sitting wearing a cowboy hat and vest while ranting about how unfair the clubs are as he loses by 50 strokes.

Sometimes I think people here lose sight of what a pathetic, absurd life Phil leads and how blessed we all are to witness it. I hope he lasts forever.

Because as much as he bitches about Treyarch and how they've lost their way and everything, Phil's still the same dudebro he was a decade ago and is nostalgic for the same dudebro game he always loved. I forget the exact quote but Phil said something like "Street Fighter and Call of Duty are my specialty". Ergo, they're games he's a fanboy for and will keep playing until cardiac arrest.
How someone can fancy themselves a "variety streamer" when he's only "specialized" at two games is beyond me. Or that he genuinely thinks he's good at CoD when he dodges every match that challenges him.

I'm surprised this lovely interaction Phil had with one of his stream viewers wasn't posted yet. Phil claims he would LOVE to have the opportunity to play multiplayer games with fans but according to him modern games never have private lobbies or lobbies where you can host games with a private key. Well, what a surprise in Mario Golf you can apparently host lobbies! Surely, Phil would love to take advantage of this rare opportunity and play some chill rounds of golf with his viewers, in fact, people in stream chat were pointing it out and asking him to do just that. One regular was apparently posting it multiple times so Phil would see it. Here's Phil's response:
