I forgot that I already doxed NinStarRune. Fuck me. But here is the bloke that uses his mum's email to troll.
I was about to report my findings too. You can indeed bypass the QR code and sign in using a Microsoft account, I tested it with a burner.

However, beyond this you can't do anything without scanning the QR code that was covered by DSP. There is a slight caveat though because once again you can bypass this part with a skip, but it leads you to this screen:

Now I wonder what happens on DSP's side? If he's playing on Xbox will this randomly pop up? Will it prevent him from playing? I'll test it out tomorrow, come back with some findings. Besides this though, a former paypig donating a whole ass Xbox to DSP isn't really out of the question either imo.

NinStarRune asked me to pass this on. :)
That is the code that required the QR code. Check the archives, the exact first time it shows up it's paired with the QR code. His explanation isn't making sense to me. Albeit I don't use Xbox so I can still be in the wrong, but I've shown my process and details of how I'm doing this and it's either not matching up or his effort of controlling DSP's Xbox is extremely worthless at the moment.

Edit: After some thought, my only guess is that when he skipped the QR process it worked differently because he was the first one to do it. It's not too important to me so I'll just give it up and say he accessed DSP's console through the app, but once again as far as I can tell the damage he can do is rather minimal. Still, imo, it's a pretty dumb move to doxx your own mother.

Is he referring to this?
No, he didn't. You need the QR code, I tried it. (Also yes I tried this when this happened like 40 minutes ago, it's not that I'm late)

First code this is what happens: (It's impossible to solve unless you get extremely lucky, mathematically)
Second code you NEED the QR code, as far as I know QR codes can't get caught half cut off by a pigroach, however I didn't try because I really really doubt I'd be able to scan that thing and it'd go through.

Is he referring to this?
Yea he's referring to code 2, and if you scroll up on this page a bit you can see my post somewhat detailing what happens if you skip the QR code. Like I said, you're going to need a burner Microsoft account and even then you can't do anything because you'll eventually need the QR code that DSP covered, but I can't guarantee that this is the same exact process for skipping the QR code when you're the first one to have accessed it.

Compared Phil's unboxing with some other one on youtube. Everything appears to check out as previously unopened, especially the hdmi and power cables.

So I am confused how ninstarrune managed to sign in to the xbox with his email address? Did he manage to snipe the code that was on the screen?

I'm speculating out my ass here, but it could just be the difference in OS versions and how they logged in. I don't think DSP updated the console to the most recent version before he got to this point. (I know there was an update at some point in his process but I can't remember if it was before or after the QR code. Either way, he'd still have to go into Settings and pull the most recent version anyway; which he didn't do).

Regardless, the outcome was pretty funny.

"Fuckin assholes! Why would they put a sensitive code on the screen? It should say okay, we're ready to show you this private code, please make sure nobody is watching and proceed!"
"It's YOUR fault I doxed you ninstarrune you fucking idiot!"
One of the smallest things Phil does that makes me laugh is getting mad because every console and game isn’t designed to be be accessible for streamers to broadcast, like they are the bulk of the target demographic and should be catered 2

Yea it was hilarious I'll give him that lmao

My final piece on this before I go is that, like with my burner, he was able to connect a Microsoft account to the Xbox, which is why when DSP restarted the console it welcomed NinStarRune, similar to how a windows computer will greet you when you first start it up. I don't know how Microsoft handles sign ins and sign outs on Xbox, but if I have to assume it's anything like Windows, without DSP actually signing in to Rune's account it really didn't mean anything.

Yeah, there's 3 account settings (Open, Some Security, Lock-it Down). If his account is set to the second or third option, DSP wouldn't have been able to do anything with the account including logging in. So, he's probably fine. If by some chance it's "Open" he can remove the account remotely from the MS website. (YOU HEAR ME NIN?!? WINK WINK) lol
