So looks like Fuzuki Miki went to Nijisanji. Good for her!
Which isn't only a good thing because her Japanese is fluent, but it also means that Nijisanji is taking from the pool of Indies that all know each other beforehand. Chemistry is a huge selling point for these girls over their competitors.

NijiEN2 sound almost exactly like the existing three in the promo that I thought they were just going to be the same girls just playing bizarro versions of their characters as a spin off.
If Selen had a voice like Ange it would have been too powerful.
If it's true that fuzuki miki and shachi reincarnated as NijiEN 2nd gen, I wonder if the third one also come from a vtuber/streamer background?

But oh well! I'm glad the fuzuki miki and shachi fans will be at ease now, knowing that they got into Niji for a bigger project ^^
It also gives new people a chance to see how Miki is, too. She's a lot like Pikamee in that she self-translates intermittently, but her streaming presence is a lot like those movies where the old rugged veteran boxer watches a rookie in the ring and says 'this kid's a natural'.

I also don't understand why people are splitting hairs on their talents and where they were scouted from compared to Holo. By all accounts Miki has the exact same skillset as Kiara, and Shachi's meme presence is somewhat comparable to Gura (a 1mil shitposter whose content raked in millions of views).

But because one is a 'Graduated V-Tuber' and the other is 'Scouted from elsewhere' it's Yagoo who gets the pat on the back. It's just weird.

Think it has to do with the recent stuff she felt with?
Here's the reason according to the rrat hivemind of /vt/

Artist in question:
They hid anti-Coco messages in their art of the holos, such that when they like, retweet or use it for a stream thumbnail, it looks like they're siding with China. It happened with some Aqua art a while ago

To be fair, I was half expect them to come out with apology letter for showing Nazi minion on Pekora stream and then slap her with 1 week ban for that rando fag antic, but they haven't done that yet. Either they doesn't realize the symbol is a big no-no for western twitard, or they finally learning that they don't have to roll on the ground and show their belly for every minor issue. I hope it's the latter.

None of these things triggered a mob of psychos so they didnt do anything
if western twitter did go insane over it and started going after pekora they would have suspended her

Taku Inoue & Hoshimachi Suisei song MV is up

Some notes from the interview :
  • Suisei first recognized Inotaku's work when she listened to the song "Radio Happy" from idolm@ster, she then further realized that her favorite songs on idolm@ster was written by Inotaku. She was pretty envious and excited at the same time when Tsukino Mito managed to get Inotaku to write a song for her, the song was so good she still ended up liking it so much.
  • Inotaku said a lot of people might find it strange that he'd write a song for Vtubers, but to him internet is always a place for everyone to have fun with music. He also watch a lot of vtuber stream and that's where he found out how Suisei really likes his music.
  • Hololive reached out to Inotaku and ask him to compose a song for Suisei's first album, and coincidentally Inotaku also had intended to contact them to ask Suisei to be the vocalist for his new song. He said had they contacted him a week later, he would've contacted Suisei himself.
  • Inotaku only starts composing the song after he decided that Suisei would be the vocalist. He'd wanted to make a fast, flashy, and exciting song for his debut, but Suisei's voice is a better match for a slightly mature and slower song like 3:12. Suisei said the song still has that unique Inotaku signature on it, especially the drums.
  • Just a day after Inotaku handed Sui the demo, Suisei sent him back the finished recording (Comet speed as usual). Inotaku said the recording that she sent back was already perfect, it leaves him with nothing else to to say, it was shocking.
  • Suisei was struggling to decide whether she'd use falsetto or not during the chorus, but in the end she decided to go with a slightly stronger falsetto.
  • Inotaku praised Suisei's sense as a vocalist. Not only she has a good sense on how to add subtle nuances to her singing, her voice is also really pleasant to listen to, regarding it as "a voice you want to listen again and again". Suisei was quite embarassed hearing Inotaku praising her right in front of her.
  • The song itself represents Inotaku's feelings during the pandemic, as a DJ he likes going to clubs and he loves the atmosphere there, and yet he can't go there because the situation of the current world is like this.
  • Suisei never goes to the club, but the lyrics had struck her too. She commented how she can't go to a lot of places and can't do any live concert during these times. The part of the lyrics "let's change the world with a one-two" really stuck on her head.
  • A lot of people and Suisei herself was surprised that Inotaku choose a vtuber for his debut song. Inotaku said that he doesn't really think much about that, it's just a coincidence that this time the vocalist that he wanted to work with is a Vtuber.
  • From a songwriter POV, karaoke streams are insanely helpful for scouting talents, Inotaku said he's not the only sngwriter who's tuning in to karaoke streams. Hearing that some pros are watching her karaoke streams makes suisei feels a bit embarassed.
  • Inotaku once tweeted that "NEXT COLOR PLANET is a great song", which surprised Suisei. Inotaku said he likes it so much he actually played it as a DJ last year. Inotaku commented that he also watched a lot of zatsudan streams, so having 2-way dialogue with Suisei like this feels a bit strange.
  • As for the main track on Suisei's first album, Inotaku said that it still hasn't taken any shape yet for now, Suisei is really looking forward to it.

Didn't Miki pump and dump Tsunderia? That's a yikes from me. I hope for Anykara's sake that isn't Miki
