Played the snoot game, really don't like visual novels but was bored and expected a meme fest. But no, what i got was a rollercoaster of emotions, interesting funny characters, an engaging story and a trad dino wife at the end. This is a good game, and i will regard this as the original volcano high and not what monstrosity those woke idiots are creating in their larder.

Speaking of wokeness, there's a bot on the GVH discord that insist on Fang being non-binary. That, or it's a dev talking through the bot.

It's pretty much finished, although there's plans for a patch or two that will add more CGs, songs, make the game open to modding, and expand on routes 3 and 4.

Lockdown on showing things for marketing reasons my ass. They're not showing shit because they don't have shit. Sure, games do take a long time but that's usually because scope and/or budget. If you can't shit out a Ren'Py game with a budget of more than a million fucking dollaridoos that's entirely on you. Anybody competent could outsource the parts they can't do themselves for probably dirt cheap and have it done in six months tops for that kind of money.

lol, you know they're just critically assblasted about how Snootdevs beat them to the punch with less manpower, less time, fewer resources, and autism orders of magnitude more potent.

Snoot game is like watching a Selzter/Friedburg parody film that comes out before the actual movie it's parodying, that manages to be more charming and professional than the object of its caricature. It's fucking crazy.

Rangto (or NETORangto) popped back in the thread, essentially said "lol stay mad," and finished the ntr/cheating fanfic. He says that he plans on making more fanfics for the lols or out of spite.

Here's some of the rules for the Discord. You can be "removed" (aka banned) for stressing the mods/devs too much. I love how they say that they'll try to warn you first before the ban, but the very next line explicitly says that they can remove you at any time :story:

This just looks like the typical leftist entryism to me. The designers/writers have a political "point" to make and cheaply and lazily design a game around their ideologies. It's amazing how shitty Western devs are at crafting proper allegories and political satire. This comes off as crass SJW meme bait, which it is.

It's doubly amusing that they attempt to dress up their knee-jerk bannings as enforcing some form of internet xenia. The problem with sacred hospitality is that, while your guests are supposed to respect you and your home, you also have an obligation to be a fair host rather than a temperamental shitbag.
