Look at racket's stream and see how much money he makes in superchats verses stream labs. One or two clicks and giving another person your credit card is a huge barrier most people won't overcome. I would say it's not even worth it unless you want to diversify income streams.
I personally don't think it can be understated how much the convenience of superchatting being right there trumps the thought of the streamer getting less of the cut for some people. Especially for those on mobile. Extra clicks to tab out to donate on internet browsers is one thing. On mobile you have to remember to utilize Picture in Picture first if you want to open up a separate mobile browser tab, otherwise tapping the streamlabs link in the YT description directly while the stream is live will just straight up cut off the live stream to load the page separately. Whereas superchatting just keeps you in the app.

Ok, just before you guys got too far into the rrats, Megumi is her old friend even before she stream as Kson and not the gorilla. She even appeared in face stream several time already. Recently divorced so technically halfway milf.
Oof debut when
Probably never. Doesn't seems like an entertainer type. Possibly helping in background tho.

I would go even further that having streamlabs might slightly decrease revenue. You make almost nothing from stream labs, you complicate the explanation on how to donate, and you split up where people see the donations.

There is a reason successful web companies obsess over the amount of clicks and amount of mental energy needed when going through their website. Probably not noticable for almost all streamers and there is still the argument for diversifying income streams.

Not to mention that the act of giving money away has to give most donors a want of instant gratification for the act. And a bold, colorfully highlighted message appearing directly in the stream's chat is stupidly effective. Streamlabs would require the streamer to allow donation notifications to pop up on stream, which we know no one in Hololive will actually do because that will be exploited.

to add to this.. people in general are as dumb as a pile of bricks made of shit. If you can make an app/website/program that even the braindead can use, you more or less have hit a gold mine. Otherwise, you're just leaving the hands of RNGsus on the type of people that filter through, hoping they have reading comprehension, understanding of computers, and common sense rolled into one package.. which is almost as abysmal of rates as the gorilla's blue axoltl farm :story:
