I mean Brit's meltdown makes a tiny amount of sense - she was used to people touching and doing her hair all the time and snapped after a serious amount of pressure. If she doesn't have hair she doesn't have a bunch of people touching it. Crazy logic but logic in a weird way.

yeah shes in too deep, that steering wheel is ducktaped going straight towards the cliff. Theres no way she will wake up and turn around now as her community has affirmed her that her decisions up to this point where 100% correct, she is deadly afraid of loosing that acceptance and affirmation, so she probably thinks that doing "whats right for her" is the only right thing going forward as well.
