I bring this up because I wonder if Vickers is in the financial position to tactically drag this case out just so Ralph could lose as much money as possible on this venture.

You can't wrangle someone who will cut ties with you and try to ruin your life the moment you criticize him. Ralph probably knows where Gator works and what Uni he goes to too, so he would just need to send them a couple of discord screencaps and killstream clips to get him fired and expelled.
