If I may be so bold as offer some history that I got from FHM. In 2004 when Janet Jackson got her tit flashed, there was a big wave of religious conservatism that rose up that year. It made Passion of the Christ a huge hit and got Bush elected again. Part of that election promise was to be tough on porn etc. So the porn industry's biggest companies like Vivid/Wicked and others etc got together with some conservative lawyers working with Bush administration to draw up a list of restricted activities so the industry could police themselves. Among this list was BDSM/Incest/bestiality/piss/scat etc.
But what was also included was interracial. So many agents warned their young stars not to do interracial as their careers would suffer badly etc. So therefore the interracial taboo was born. It was strictly an American thing. None of the classy safe porn companies did interracial at all. This continued for many years until nowasdays.
