So either some waterhead fan or DSP himself spent >$500 on a laptop instead of just a second monitor for his PC and a 10' HDMI cable.
DSP hates the "caveman" PC gamer look. His words. I think that he will end up getting the a new couch or a lounge chair. If the streaming capabilities of the consoles were good enough he would use only that.

Phil amazed by SSD speed. Hahahaha. I'm not surprised, but wow.

Nothing wrong with an entry-level laptop, other than it being a terrible time to buy one. $500+ for that Aspire is rough.

Why Phil needs a laptop to begin with is dumb. It's not hard to build a PC that could easily handle everything he's doing.

What an unusual thing for an "old school" lan-running PC gamer to say.
"He used to be one of them" apparently. But we know that whenever Phil has to recollect some backstory, he's talking out of his arse and always makes contradictory statements that disprove the legitimacy of his claims time and time again.

If he was really a true hardcore PC gamer back in the day, then his attitude wouldn't to PCs wouldn't be what it is now.

This dude hasn't left a 40 mile radius (besides the marriage scam) since he moved to WA. The last thing he needs is a laptop. A desktop, even a cheap prebuilt (if such a thing exists right now) is ideal for a shut-in like Dave.

Yep, and he likely would have built his own PC for cheaper so we wouldn't be laughing at him for buying a $600 entry level laptop in the middle of a chip shortage.

That's the "Thin" version of that model too which is meant to be extra-portable for $200 or so more.

Apparently not only did he not keep up with modern computers/terminology, he also forgot everything he used to know about computers and building them. Its not like basics are essentially just upgraded, more powerful versions of what he would have been using back in the day. No, the technology behind computers is completely different now than it was 15 years ago and none of the knowledge from when he was supposedly doing this would have carried over.

Screw the PC because of quarantine people are looking at older systems. 3ds games and hardware are getting more popular and expensive. He should have used that 3ds with the capture card and go after the money and views of people looking up 3ds games and footage. The PC was a dumb investment he has what he needs in his storage to make money.

That idiot with a business degree doesn't even understand how to take advantage of supply and demand. Instead, he allows himself to be screwed by it. Enjoy your basic lemon PC that you probably don't even know how to use Phil.

You know Phil could reduce his sales tax expense if he went to Oregon to buy his shit. I think there is no sales tax in Oregon and it would help his supposed tax woes. The problem is Phil is too lazy to do that and not drive for a few hours on his off day. Just take interstate 5 down to Portland to buy your shit Phil.

At the rate DSP is going I pray for another bankruptcy or audit or anything. I can't imagine how fast he'd shit his pants if he had to provide proof of correspondence between him and whatever Whale -hopefully doxxing them in the process- paid for his new laptop and the new xbox. Or proof of purchase thus proving once again how much of a liar and scammer he is. And got someone to hand over his phone for WWE CHAMPIONS to go over an itemized list of all the wrasslers he's spent money on. Kghaleon would be the first to say "everybody makes mistakes" no, Kgahleon, no. DSPs mother made.the mistake of having baby Philip in the first place.

His problem isn't the paltry sales tax, it's the federal income tax due to no substantial deductions.

For a second I'll pretend his new laptop and X Box were gifted by fans, within his own narrative just look at how shameless and ungrateful he looks. Fans just gifted me approximately $1k in new tech? Fuck that dood I need tips! I have cat supplies to buy and restaurants to visit!!!

But he does have deductions, his bankruptcy paperwork had 50% of his income as expenses.

Don't forget he's claiming his WWE Champions stuff on there.
I'm going to assume you're joking. He has very little deductions. The percentage the room is compared to the condo, percentage of electric use, and unneeded biz internet. That's it. He isn't buying games (he's getting refunds after he fails at them), consoles, or laptops so they can't be deducted.
That sales tax eats up a lot of his income because he wastes it all the time.
He doesn't buy anything for the business to worry about sales tax. His life is not a business deduction.
