A lot of people feel like this, wanting to be optimistic even when things are bad; self conscious about their body. When most people get criticism, they don't strike out even harder in that direction. Instead of putting on a shirt in the tik toks, he goes even grosser and creepier. His lack of weight loss is criticized. He could say he's happy how he is, yet he pretends. Rather than admit to messing up, he'll say he messed up, but it's due to mental illness, not a bad decision. He'd rather have people think he pays for prostitutes and gets lots of sex than explain how he's lonely and doing the best he can under the circumstances to satiate that human desire for company everyone has. At every opportunity he throws gasoline on the fire, not water, and it's his choice. He's into self sabotage and excuses it as mental illness.

If he doesn't want "to say and do stupid things", why doesn't he delete (or at least deactivate) his Twitter account and any other social media platform he uses that doesn't actively generate any income for him? At least with Youtube, it's pre-recorded so he rarely says anything regrettable in those videos.

I dont buy any of the shit he cries about in this video. Dont get me wrong, I believe he is fully aware of his issues (both mentally and physically) but I think hes known that for awhile. He is really trying to pull hard at sympathetic strings and bust out the tiny violin before the big birthday. The reason why he feels so terrible is because hes utilizes the most toxic and self destructive coping mechanisms to his issues. Then when he gets called out for doing something stupid or terrible he makes up a lie and tries to "own the haters". Clearly no one really gives a shit when he tries to lie about being rich, having sex or living his best life. All of these things are just a way for him to lie to himself that he is doing well and the ass pats are just further validation. He plays this big game of pretend online most of his day and by the end of it he is still a fat shit head who is alone and has no true friends or family that honestly cares. This happens to a ton of people and it takes a lot of self reflection and insight to understand whats wrong. A majority will try to improve their life by whatever means, some cope, and others cope in extremely unhealthy ways like Boogie. Its at that point he decides his life is so bad because of X reason (X not being him). He KNOWS he eats like shit, cant follow a diet, is fat as hell and is extremely unhealthy, but because his 15 years of online harassment make him so unstable he has to eat to cope. His terrible views on women and relationships with women didnt ruin his last one, it was the stalkers who scared her away. Boogie will gladly tell you that he is a flawed person who does stupid things and make you feel bad for him. However he is also the person who will directly say he does stupid things because of something else and its not his fault. He cant accept that he is the sole reason his life is fucked and because of that will never seek actual medical help. He would rather belittle, threaten and scare women hes with instead of saying he is worried they will leave him cause hes disgusting. He would also threaten suicide to people who are concerned about him because the comments on a sub reddit got too real for him. He would never be able to stop and think deeply about how he truly feels and be vulnerable before saying something stupid.

Yes, it was the shady scam online therapy bullshit. That whole shitshow back then was fun, and Boogie was one of the people shilling it. I'm surprised to see some people (Like RoosterTeeth) still getting sponsored by them even after it was revealed they're a sham.

Yeah, Philip Defranco was doing some really shady shit with them too, including actually getting Boogie the sponsorship through a third party or under an alias. I think it was the Killstream where Boogie basically admits to not reading the fine print of the agreement or the website TOS. He said he ceased sponsorships immediately and donated the money he made from the sponsorship to charity (which I doubt he did)
