Wake up. The basic thing that keeps inches separate from the rest of the world is the we (normal people) actually have a life. We have jobs, we have families, we have friends, we have hobbies, we have projects. We have so many things that connect us with our peers, with our tribe, fucking some chick is not our main goal in life. Of course sex is fun, it's even better when it's with someone that cares about us, but it's not all there is in life.
You say you enjoy enjoy philosophy, so I recommend you take a look at Durkheim, he goes deep into the significance of the social group, and Michel Maffesoli develops the idea of tribalism in a more modern context.
Yes, part of being human is the need for a group to identify with, sharing interests and shaping each others behaviours. But I strongly disagree with your claim that the new generation is too selfish and independent. Globalization has lead to more complex identities, people are no longer required to conform to the status quo, but what that means is that it has become much easier for the "others" or "deviants" to find a group to identify with.
Instead of individual selfishness being glamourised, people have a larger choice of groups to identify with, and the speed of technology leads to radicalisation.
What we have is awkward teenagers that instead of maturing into fine adults, they find a group of other awkward teenagers and radicalise each other, strengthening each other's worse ideas about the world. Every teenage boy and girl are literal incels, they are all young and horny and desperate for the right person to appear for them to have sex. The problem is when a group of virgins start to blame external factors on their difficulty in finding a mate, something that is just about always the fault of the person themselves. A part of growing up is learning to accept yourself as you are, love your flaws, and spend more time worrying about paying your bills than the next time you get to have sex.
