No, nothing like rape or being confronted by a man in a Barney suit or anything like people like to think happened. It was just me, and fags who were way too old to be watching that shit but still watched it anyway.

We've seen a lot of people dedicated to defending cartoons at the expense of their dignity on here. So far, none of them have been huge Barney fans. Do you have any actual examples of this happening, or are you just assuming they exist because people on 4chan like to troll you with Barney stuff? Please cite your sources.

Looking at his YouTube page, TruelySonicHOG, he is quite dedicated to the show. Most of his output on YouTube revolves around Barney, and is subscribed to other users who are also fans of Barney. He has an alternate account dedicated to uploading Barney episodes (amongst many others that do the same thing), and also appears to be the admin of the Barney Wiki.

There is literally something wrong with you. And no, its not because "they forced you to watch barney". It's because you took it to heart. You took barney to be an affront to everything you believe yourself to be. If you think you're superior than those who watch barney, you aren't, because you're a petty little fuckspill who shits on them for no reason.
I was born in 1990, so I was around and lucid around the time they started singing "Tic Tac Toe, three in a row, Barney got shot by a G.I. Joe". And I joined in because like every other kid around my age, we considered ourselves too old for barney. It's the beginning of that age range when you start worrying about how "mature" or "baby-ish" your friends and peers perceive you to be. Its understandable. I just laugh at it looking back, and I wouldn't start watching barney now, but there are kids shows/cartoons i legitimately feel nostalgic watching, such as Reboot or Stickin' Around. If they come on I'll be like "holy fuck that's on" and sit down and watch it. Hell, i even have Reboot downloaded. I wont shit on the Barney crowd, even though I find it a little weird.
You wanna attack me for still liking Reboot or Dexter's Lab, or even Pingu(yes, that plasticine penguin show)? Go ahead. But you'll simply demonstrate yourself to be a worthless retard who cares too much about the television habits of others. Go ahead and attack me for still liking any of the childish things I still like.
All I'll do is request one thing: Demonstrate how you're better than I am. And it has nothing to do with interests.

I'm not gonna attack you for liking Reboot, or Dexter's Lab. Reboot, while I haven't watched much of, definitely deserves some respect for being probably the first fully CG-animated show, and having a nice, interesting world with cool villains. Dexter's Lab I also have respect for. I watched it as a kid and liked it, and there are parts of it I find funny now. I won't bash you for liking that, either (but I consider those who like Seasons 3 and 4 over the others quite odd). Pingu, genuinely liking it is a tad odd to me, but nothing for me to get angry other like Barney does, considering the remixes I've come across with the Pingu song in it.

Why are you so dedicated to hating barney. I personally would have done anything for a chance to get out of that environment, whereas you're only prolonging your suffering by dedicating your life to hating it. It's fine to not like it but with what you're doing, it's insane.
You're here right now because you're arguing your point of view to people who can't respect it, because it's a point of view that's impossible to respect. You hate a children's show with a passion, not to mention the people that created it, all because you suffered from the infantilization of the special education program. The latter is a worthy goal: bring it to people who can do something about it. The show is not your enemy. You only perceive it to be.
