Good on the police for apprehending this imbecile before he managed to kill somebody, though I do not see what the point of a ‘hate crime’ is: plotting or attempting a murder is punishable anyway. It is very interesting that in the current society injuring somebody due to group animosity is considered worse than doing so due to personal animosity.
