Eric Clapton, based shitlord-in-chief, sticking it to the pricks:
www.dailymail.co.uk
I think he released an anti-vax song with Van Morrison.
In December 2020, Clapton joined fellow classic rocker turned anti-vaxxer Van Morrison on his song, Stand and Deliver.
The song features lyrics including, 'Do you wanna be a free man / Or do you wanna be a slave?' and 'Dick Turpin wore a mask too.'
Akshually... it presents an interesting conundrum for the people in power. Because there is skin in the game now. He was booked to play some place, but they have scrubbed that from the DM article, and they didn't actually have a no vax no entry policy. Someone got their panties in a twist over this and they have deleted it from the article.
Anyway, he's booked to play somewhere this year and what do they do now? Do they enforce the govt. policy or do they cancel Clapton? Of course it's just a charade. But good for him for sticking his head above the parapet. Van Morrison did that and they cancelled his shows at the last minute to teach him a lesson. He was fuuuurious.
The news follows U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson's announcement Tuesday that as restrictions on social gatherings lift, nightclubs must require guests to show a Covid Pass from the U.K.'s National Health Service upon entry for everyone over the age of 18.
Clapton is due to play the Royal Albert Hall in 2022.
I tried to find the Covid status they wiped from the DM article.
Will I need to show 'Covid certification' to gain entry to the Hall?
The Government has encouraged us to have a system in place to check the Covid status of audiences.
You may be asked to show your Covid status (negative test result, proof of double vaccination or proof of natural immunity) through the NHS Covid Pass on the NHS App, NHS.UK, or as a letter that can be requested by ringing NHS 119. You can order free lateral flow tests here and show text or email confirmation of negative test results.
Mmm... doesn't really answer the fucking question does it. Which is why they scrubbed it off the DM article.
Look, will I have to, by law, show a fucking Vaxx Pass to attend the concert? Yes/No?
I guess they don't even know how the state of play will be by then so they are hedging their bets. It costs a lot to cancel people like Clapton, because they still expect to get paid. Insurance comes in to it from both sides. If the Hall cancels then they have to pay Clapton so much. If Clapton breaks his wrist in a fall, his insurers pay the Hall. That kind of thing.
Will be interesting who gets to pay who if as he has mentioned he will cancel any concert where Coved Vaxx Passes are required. By law they aren't at the moment, hence the vague weasel words from the Hall. But by next year, I would imagine they will be law. Smart move by Clapton. He gets to cancel a concert, prove a point and still get fucking paid. Based.
Also, he nearly ended up never playing the guitar again becuase the vaxx really made him ill.
In an earlier release Clapton detailed a 'disastrous' experience with the AstraZeneca vaccine for which he blamed 'propaganda' for pushing on him.
The musician continued on revealing that he suffers from 'peripheral neuropathy and should never have gone near the needle.'
AstraZeneca you say. We'll get to that one in a minute.
He suffers from peripheral neuropathy because he was an alcoholic for many years. This burns out the extremities of your nerves causing loss of function in worst cases, or numbness/tingling/pain in not so advanced cases. Obviously he still can play guitar so he does not have complete loss of function. Still whatever happened with that vaxx it pissed him off.
One to watch. Because this shit will still be going strong in 2022. I think the re-scheduled shows for next year come from his inability to play this year in May.
Here we go:
Due to continuing restrictions on public gatherings Eric Clapton’s performances planned for the Royal Albert Hall in May 2021 will not now take place as scheduled. While it has been possible to transfer two of the shows to 2022, unfortunately lack of available dates has forced the cancellation of the remaining two shows.
If the laws are in place by then, Eric will be cancelling and I bet he has something in his contract somewhere where it says he can do this and still get paid a percentage of the full fee. If he didn't he probably would get sued by the Hall for doing so.
Maybe he's just playing funny fuckers after seeing how they fucked about his mate Van Morrison with cancelling his shows, which, iirc, did cost him because it was all done under the pain of law, so at the very least he lost a sizeable chunk of income, if not even losing the whole fee.
These overpaid fucking rock stars can afford it. But still, it's nice to see someone at least kicking against the pricks. It sounds like it's personal for him, and that's where all the best drama comes from...
Yeah AstraFuckingZeneca.
Ok, file under anecdotal shit that means fuck all in the grand scheme of things:
Talked to my mum earlier on the phone. Finally she got rid of the mild flu she's had for 3 fucking weeks! She never gets flu/cold for more than a few days. This one really wiped her out. She had the AZ vax probably about 2 months ago. Anyway, she said she is not having another one. She is going to get a flu jab though, so go figure. I guess she really believes the AZ vax fucked her up. She's not going to chance a second. She's boomer age, not in the best of health.
Still, 3 fucking weeks. I was starting to get worried for her. Who knows, she might drop dead tomorrow, but she's been feeling better the past day or two so she is probably on the mend.
There is no fucking way I'm getting this vaxx. I'm not an anti-vaxxer. I get the 'science'. Science based on empirical data over a period of many decades. Real fucking 'science' not 'scientism'.
She also dropped another little interesting anecdote to me today:
She said that even though they are exempt from wearing the mask (both of them have lung issues of whatever kind), they still wear them, because you know, people give you funny stares if you don't! She was huffing and puffing for breath in her hospital appointment today, scorching fucking oppressive heat in bongland today. And the doctor said, yeah it's ok, take it off, LOL, we don't want you pass out.
Typical boomers. Martyrs till the end.
Still not going to be getting that second booster shot of AZ though. So life is full of small victories I guess? Just glad she's ok. The fucking narc that she is. LOL.

Eric Clapton won't play venues that require proof of vaccination
Clapton has been releasing anti-vaccination and anti-lockdown statements and songs for close to a year now.
Eric Clapton won't play venues that require proof of vaccination in the wake of U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson's announcement clubgoers must present COVID passes
- Eric Clapton, 76, said he won't play 'where there is a discriminated audience present'
- U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said nightclubs must require guests to show a Covid Pass from the NHS
- Iconic guitarist said that he reserves 'the right to cancel the show' if venues require passes
- Clapton has been releasing anti-vaccination and anti-lockdown statements over the past year

All those countries used the Astra Zeneca shot, which was a piece of shit since day one. That could be one reason why they're having an issue. The other is the PCR tests are too sensitive and bringing up false positives.
Yeah AstraFuckingZeneca.
