Can a lolcow be redeemed

If you could meet Chris before the unclit, before the sagas, before Julie, and before everything. What would you say to him? Could you even say anything to him that would have helped? Was he doomed, and if so, at what point was he doomed? Was he doomed the moment Bob and Chris' Mom (forgot name) laid eyes one another at the karaoke bar or whatever it was and fucked, old as they were? When they switched Chris' schools so he wouldn't have to attend sped? And even now, with at least two-thirds of his life spent, is there still some infinitesimal chance, some hope, that if the stars aligned in the right way, Chris could come back to reality?

I think that this probes at one of reasons Chris' story is so compelling. One recurring theme, asked to christorians throughout its course, was whether or not someone could change, or whether we're all doomed to the trajectory we're thrown into this world at, consigned by our environment and neurophysiology. That's some pretty deep shit for a forum of sperg-stalkers. Maybe children should browse the farms in school, instead of reading Shakespeare.

Chris's upbringing and mental disabilities fucked him up and the bizarre bahaviour in his teens/adulthood are a result of those things. To "save him" you'd need to go back to when he was a baby and house him with foster parents that could give him a normal upbringing (but even then his autism would probably hinder him turning into a functional adult).

Some cows might be savable. There's quite a few that if they had just a couple positive influences they might have been steered away from cowdom.

Chris isn't one of those. He was screwed from the start. Severe autism coupled with mentality unstable parents in a hoarders home ruined his chances early. I've seen suggestion that if he hadn't won the shopping spree as a kid, or if he had a better aid during schooling that it could have helped. It wouldn't have. He was doomed from birth. As suggested above, if he was given up for adoption as a baby and adopted very young into a family that could support him that would have been his only chance at escaping cowdom.

Actually, I did. I told little Chris "Hey, you know what would be cool? Sonic, but it's really a Pikachu!". I don't regret it - without him this place would've never existed.

Chris is the essence of a tragic character who was fucked even way before he had a chance of a normal life. His disabilities while severe, where nothing compared to his parents neglecting his awful behavior and their own as well. If he had different parents, he probably wouldn't been a lowcow, but then again, who knows. He could've still been a lowcow in the end, but probably less worse.

Chris was always doomed due to his autism. At best you could redirect it into something else by like convincing him that he's an absolutely great sculptor because magicks or something.
Well it may be possible to "save him" in the future if someone figures out how to use ISRIB on humans but why would you want to do that

For Chris specifically I think a lot of his problems could have been prevented, or at least helped, if his parents removed his Internet access. However I think even if this happened his traits that made him a lolcow would have manifested in different ways.

Chris could have been saved if only he had had an older male role model to take him under his wing, teach him discipline, and fuck his tight little boy butt over and over every time he acted up. It worked for the ancient Romans, it would have worked for Chris.

Can some lolcows be saved? Sure. Sometimes they're just going through a stupid phase in their life or need some perspective. We all had a cringey phase, some people just go through that harder and more publicly than others and once they get some support and help they learn the errors of their ways and better themselves.

But can most lolcows, and especially Chris, be saved? No. It's why they became a lolcow in the first place.

You could fire up the RE-TARDIS and go back to any point in Chris's timeline and he would either not listen to you or he would fuck up in exciting, new ways with the only things your butterfly effect changed is that he now believes he's the world-famous creator of Luigilypuff who he is married to along with Meg Griffin and Voltorb.
