There is. It's basically a licensed spin off of Boku no Natsuyami. A nostalgia bait game where....you play as a boy visiting the countryside during summer. The gameplays is just that, kids on a summer break. I wonder how an American or Brits version would look like though

Sound stupid at first, but it make sense in context. When you're trying to enjoy the psychological horror and pondering the concept of self in a empty, cold, apocalyptic underwater facilities, constantly having to reload from last save point because you aren't good with game mechanic and spend 1+ hour on the same scene probably ruin the narration. If she need it, I'm all for it. I already mention what remains of edith finch, but the game show that you don't need constant jump-scare, fighting and dying for a game to be fun and engaging.
