My name is Ashia Boshia from Vice News Motherboard, and I’m writing on allegations that terrorists from the Screen Actors’ Guild acting at your direction are are connected to the death of respected warrior Stone-Man-Warrior. I’m writing to see if you had any further comment on the claims that Stone-Man experienced ongoing attempts on his life at the hands of undercover terrorist assassins wielding Nitrous Oxide and that these assassins replaced Mr. Warrior’s friends and family to get closer access for their ambushes.

I don't think anyone who's been following this thread can really be surprised that he died. With his deteriorating health and refusal to seek medical help, it was only a matter of time. If only he had let the SAG terror soldiers at the hospital treat him, he may still be with us today.

I feel like a lot of the schizocows are the only cows you can really, truly say aren't at least slightly bad people. With the exception of sex pests like Bulla (sexually), most of them are just victims of shit completely beyond their control. Schizophrenia and other serious mental illnesses are no joke, and there's a pretty heavy genetic component. Plus US healthcare is a dumpster fire all around, but mental health is particularly bad. Sure some places have decent resources, but overall it's a joke.

If journos want to write clickbait about thread subjects dying, they should write about this guy and other schizocows who died related to years of undertreated mental illness thanks to the absolute joke of a healthcare system that even Democrats don't seem to give a single fuck about fixing.

Murika's "health care system" is so fucked that unless the mentally ill VOLUNTARILY seek treatment, there's nothing anybody can do. Of course, since the mentally ill are, by definition, batshit crazy, they won't seek treatment because they don't think anything is wrong with them, since their brains have been swallowed by crazy. It's the ultimate catch-22, and nobody at all gives a flying fuck, from Pelosi to the local cops who just shrug and say "it's a free country, sorry".

There was a case recently in Modesto, Cal., where a street skitzo wandered into a restaurant and started ranting about "buying" and "kidnapping" the owner's tweenage daughter. The owner shoved the guy out the door and called police, who just said "muh first amendment" and drove away. It wasn't until the guy did something similar once or twice immediately following that he was locked up. Then his parents went on local TV to explain that he was schizo and had started refusing to take his meds a couple years before, then he'd left home for the streets, and literally nobody gave a fuck because "he's an adult".

Words inevitably fail to describe this level of institutional autism. Kafka? Rube Goldberg? The system lets somebody like Stoneman literally rot away from diabetes caused gangrene and the only response is "muh free country". Fuck, this pisses me off, Stoneman didn't have to die.

Yep, though the horror stories of abuse at mental institutions of the past are true as well, and abuse still happens today. Every aspect of the system fails these people miserably.

Powerlevel but fuck it, one of my friends friends has struggled with severe mental illness and addiction since high school and hes currently using again and at the point that hes a danger to himself or others. 100% needs to go to inpatient and get stabilized at minimum but he refuses and since hes an adult there's only so much that can be done.

It's fucked and this guy absolutely didnt have to die, and neither did Terry Davis or any of the other schizocows. Hell even the troons that did confirmably kill themselves were more victims of years of undertreated mental illness than anything else (like wasn't Chloe Sagal bipolar with a long history of violent unstable episodes, like she cited it in her manifesto and everything?).

That depends on the jurisdiction. When I worked as a firefighter/EMT, we always had law enforcement on hand when we went to mental health calls. Law enforcement was always able to get a mental inquest warrant on scene so that we could transport and treat if the patient refused care.

The legal framework is there, but the problem is that mental health is such an incredibly shitty route for healthcare workers, that there's a minority of nurses, doctors, techs, etc who have the patience to work with them. Even if you get a good one, they get burnt out very quickly.

This even goes back to cops, like you mentioned above. End of your shift? Fuck trying to wrangle some crazy-strong dude to the local inpatient mental health center. That doesn't excuse a cop refusing to do what needs to be done, but having worked with the mentally ill, I can at least understand it.

In Stoneman's case, it blows my mind that law enforcement did not seek out a mental inquest warrant (or whatever Oregon would call it) to force him into treatment, especially if they knew the condition of his leg.
