M y city is apparently thinking about reinstating mask mandates and requiring city employees to get the vax.

Guess it's time to email the city and rescind my application. Fuck 'em anyway, last time I worked as a temp at City Hall the negresses sat around doing their hair and nails, and I am certain the conditions haven't improved what with all the Black Girl Magic in the air. Tempted to tell them not only will I not get the shot, I'm the wrong color anyway so let us just stop wasting time shall we?

Both myself and my roomie are wondering just why they are so invested in everyone getting jabbed, and just strengthens our already rock-solid resolve to not get the vax under any circumstances.

They've always tried to claim kids were at risk.
Shit they were trying to claim a kid who got snuffed by the nanny and another who drowned in a bathtub ackychually died of COVID-19.

The arguments when presented with the fact that kids die of COVID at a rate almost statistically zero, smaller than the margin of error, have been:
1) "The death rate is only so small because COVID hasn't infected them as much, once it starts infecting more kids the death % will climb!"
2) "Muh Long-Covid will make all the kids into retarded cripples!"

I have not seen a single Republican or hell even Independent think that the CDC is good right now. There are ALL ORANGE MAN BAD types that support Fauci/CDC at this point.

Remember the whole Bathhouse Fauci comes from the fact the MSM was trying to "sanitize" Fauci in the eyes of gay community, because he was previously criticized by that community for his handling of the HIV/AIDS crisis.

(It was a great example of white propaganda/agitprop, because they had to know Fauci's detractors would run wild with stories of him visiting gay bathhouses)

Pretty sure that is bullshit.

Delta emerged in November in India and its believed by Indian scientists to have come from a pack of dogs that had gotten infected from humans.

And the dogs then passed it back to humans....probably eating rotting corpses on Ganges.

I blame the Texas Democrats for pumping those numbers up.

Edit: Looking at the stats of my liberal area, the only significant population still not vaxxed is the blacks, lol.

My city is dipping its' toes into another potential lockdown and outright stating that the masks will remain until the end of the year for the rest of the country.

It's not that we comply very much but theoretically, you can still get refused to be served and/or get fined for not having a muzzle.

What pisses me off is I moved out of my shithole city due to the events of 2020 and I have no interest in ever wearing a mask again, but I need to go to the DMV to do a change of address. Masks are required. As bad as going to the DMV is during normal times now I have to muzzle myself like a dog and submit myself to the king state in order to stay legal. Fucking bull shit.

Even worse is once it's time for a photo they will demand I remove the mask. Remember, it's not about science, it's about compliance.

Also when I said "kids" I was mostly referring to the <9 demographic, where the "children" demographic being discussed here is <18.

They are reinstating these things there because they think most people will comply. In most southern states like florida they are doing nothing of the sort, because people won’t comply and the government will look weak. Notice they are still “discussing and debating” in most places despite covid being worse than ever? Its because they are gauging what they can get people to comply with.

Your compliance and belief they will handback all this control if you comply hard enough drags this out for everyone.
