Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The Summer of Love worked great for the Dems last year. Never mind that this year the conditions are completely different, but they can't move backwards on anything without giving ground to the right, so forwards it is. It would be great if they could avoid doubling-down to the point of tripling down, but here we are. They're fucked, we know it, they know it, so time to cause some havoc since that's the historical Democrat go-to.

On some weirdly empathetic level of mine it's almost a pitiable situation to me. Yes, they clearly packed the press pool and arrange his contacts so he is never face to face with anyone who would challenge the narrative they are trying to push, but they also have to do that because the dude is so frail that he might have a legit breakdown due to the collapse of the house of cards that is his mental reality. As much as I hate him for his role in the deep state for the last several decades and as much as I like to laugh at his stupidity and thinly veiled racism, I still have to feel sorry for a man who literally has to have his alternate reality supported because he may have a pants shitting fit of terror rage in public if it wasn't. Biden is a prisoner in his own body and his access to the keys is waning.

If his son was merely a crackhead, I would feel sympathy because he burnt political capital protecting his drug-addicted son, which would have been a kinda normal dad thing to do. Heck, the Ukraine thing would have been understandable, giving his kid a high paying “sit there and shut up” position to ensure he has a source of income. However it is clear he was selling us all out, through his son, for money and power. Nothing more, nothing less. His son, who is an absolute monster in and of himself. No kindness or forgiveness at this point.

I cannot handle another lockdown style again. Numbers are decreasing, we should be fine, right? When are we going to sanction China for allowing such a pandemic to happen?
