It's a damn good thing Barbara is being checked out medically, because she likely has an infection or disease from him now.

There isn't a shadow of a doubt in my mind that Chris is destined for a mental institution and not a prison, let alone a high-security Tyrone prison where stabbings and prison rape and shit are an actual concern. He's going to go to a funny farm and he'll probably never emerge until he's either determined to be rehabilitated, or learns to pretend to be rehabilitated, neither of which are in the cards for Chris.

And even if he was destined for prison, he'd probably be in some sort of protective custody on account of him being a female-presenting turboautist. One way or another, he's going to be silent for a very long time, probably longer than he's been on most peoples' radar. Chris is effectively done, and anything we hear will be more like a reunion special feature than a return to normal

Yeah I agree, but like I said, social services in general are notorious for delivering the vulnerable back into the hands of their abusers despite clear indicators of abuse that fall short of iron-clad proof.

I wouldn’t say it’s unimaginable for the American prison system to throw a genuinely mentally incompetent person into prison genpop, but I think there is plenty for Chris’ lawyer (if he doesn’t attempt to represent himself as lolcows tend to do) to argue insanity. He doesn’t understand or believe that what he did was wrong, and there is also plenty of speculation that he was groomed, even though it’s clear to see Barb was refusing him. He has no remorse or likely any competence to stand trial, so unless he gets a particularly unforgiving judge, it’s probably gonna be the loony bin for him.

Damn. There are really no words.
