Imagine being a social service worker in Ruckersville. You wake up, early in the morning, gulp down your coffee quick and drive to your office. As soon as you clock in a call arrives. It's about the weird troon down the street. "Another joker I suppose". Then another, then five, ten more, then dozens, they claim there's a recording. Well, shit time to check it out.
You grab the keys to the car and hop in the driver seat, get to the house and knock. A fat lard with faded blue hair opens, you can see the hoarding in the back, and an old voice asking who's at the door. "Is Barbara Chandler here?" An old lady with her eyes looking like they're about to pop out of their orbits appears in the corridor between two cumstained figurines.
Alright, follow me Mist- Miss Chandler, we've got some questions for you.

I’m not a lawyer so I could be totally wrong, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they are obligated to issue a temporary protection order (or whatever) based on reports alone. So maybe at this point they have no more evidence than we do

The allegations are embarrassing and could end with Chris getting locked up. She may refuse to cooperate. If so, even with the evidence in the call and the text messages, the DA may drop the case because it's too hard to go on without the victim (or the victim testifies on behalf of Chris).

Troons cannot let go of the urge to keep every fucking retard or sex offender as a representative within their group. It's not like it's that hard to disown sex offenders.

If they had any sense, they would just admit that there are some predators and criminals who need to be treated (or arrested). Now that LGBT is much more widely accepted, they only create problems for themselves by lying.

It's not like people don't logically know that some criminals, statistically, will be trans. But the denial is what makes it weird. I don't feel the need to defend every Criminal who shares an arbitrary characteristic with me, because I'm not afraid I'll look worse somehow if I don't defend criminals. That would be insane.

I'm not sure that Chris is capable of coming up with the story that "Barb raped him".

Plus even though Chris is currently on his tugboat - my understanding is that he could still be held criminally liable, just as he has in the past despite charges being downgraded.

So to me, it all hinges on whether or not the court will take it up and find that Barb couldn't consent. I guess it's also possible they could rule the opposite (and find that Chris couldn't consent), but even then, I have a hard time believing that they'll be able to hold Barb criminally liable if she has dementia. Chris on the other hand, may have mental and developmental problems, but I think the court would have an easier time finding him liable than Barb.
