I was watching Down The Rabbit Hole's vid on Chris one day a year or two ago, and my wife walks in and says, "Oh, shit... is that Chris Chan?" Now, you've got to understand that my wife is a "normal" person - i.e., she doesn't lurk on KF, voted for Biden, and enjoys Animal Crossing and knitting.

So, I was elated that she even had a cursory knowledge of a complete sideshow like CWC! I spent the next hour bringing her up to speed on the outrageous turn of events that have unfolded in the last however-many-years since most mainstream attention towards Chris has died down.

It actually became a bit of a nice way for me to talk about my weirdo lolcow/internet drama fascination. And since then, I'll give her little updates every so often when something particularly exceptional occurs in the CWC-universe.

... How am I supposed to tell her this? HOW?

I feel rather bad for him. He has gone out of his way to help Chris more than any of these idiots on twitter blaming the farms for this could ever begin to imagine...He's no doubt helped him when he really shouldn't have. Then all the sudden we learned he raped his mother. I'm sure that's put a bit of stress on his shoulders.

this is an interesting point that makes me think. Iirc (feel free to correct me, I know quite a bit but I'm not balls deep in the lore), most of what Chris knows about sex seemed to come from the internet and not much else. I genuinely believe if no one told him that this was wrong, he might really just not know.

yeah, christ. i stopped keeping up with CWC several years ago, so i was shocked that it had gotten THIS FUCKING BAD, but all of chris's tweets and facebook posts defending incest and saying he has a fetish for barb etc. definitely make it more obvious that something was going wrong for a very, very long time here. he also said he had a fetish for barb and found her sexy just a little while ago. the writing was on the wall. it was only a matter of when, and how long it would take for him to tell on himself and fall into serious legal trouble.
