A lot of these people are just otherwise nice, regular human beings who happen to be trans. They don't want their identity to be miscontrued. When somebody who has done bad things adopts a gender identity, regardless of what they've done, disrespecting what that person identifies as would effectively be a personal insult since it implies anybody can be ignored for what they identify as.
I'm not gonna expect anybody else here to really care, or even agree with me on this, but I personally feel discussing and belittling somebody shouldn't lead to throwing shade on a community they're a part of. That's all.

I misgender all trannies because they're mentally ill freaks. Most of them don't care Chris raped his mom because they're done the same to their dog or little brother. Nobody just happens to be trans, they're severely mentally ill, untreated, and outside of that usually insufferable because they're metal illness comprises their entire personality, while continuing to raid and destroy spaces for other women and harassing women for wanting spaces of their own.

You and I both know if the protective process finds her to be incapable, there is no way they are going to say, well he has a tugboat so split the difference, incest is wincest awwwrighttt. The protective process is only concerned with whether grounds to remove her from 14BC are established. If he is dipping his bent duck in Snorlax, the court will find itself satisfied that one or both of them should no longer live there. Barb is the subject of the live proceedings, so it will be quicker and easier to decide she should be removed than start a second round of proceedings about Chris. If Chris was legally a minor, social work would most probably be way more concerned with determining Barb’s potential culpability in all this.

Whether or not Chris should be left alone in 14BC if Barb is gone is a very live question and I will be genuinely very surprised if there is not some formal assessment made of Chris’ ability to live alone following whatever the fallout of this nuclear disaster is. IIRC Chris is not his own payee for the tugboat, so at some point there was formal evidence that he isn’t capable of solo living. But the Chris Is Removed To A Group Home Saga is still a ways down the possibility tree at this point, to my mind.

Severe dementia can impact eating capabilities. Imagine losing the understanding of how to use a fork. Dementia can set in as a result of a traumatic event as a method of the body protecting itself from the memory. I would not be surprised to find out this happened to Barb.

I went outside to do some gardening and when I came back in and looked at twitter I saw CHRIS CHAN DID WHAT trending and when I came here I was all wtf and I have really tried to catch up with this thread by actually reading it but that, much like being able to catch up to One Piece if I started watching it from the first episode, is going to be impossible before I die of old.

it really is just an issue of how theyre percieved
a person doesnt 'have' pronouns-pronouns are used in regard to a person, based entirely on how people know em
chris chan has been known to the world as a man for most of his life, esp in the circles that follow him. he now identifies as a woman as is also known to some people as a woman. neither 'she' nor 'he' would really be "incorrect" since pronouns are merely used for the sake of understanding and making convo intuitive

Anyone taking bets at this point?

I don't think he will get committed, or go to jail,

but will he get an actual social service worker he has to check in with on a regular basis, similar to a probation officer? That's what I'm betting on. Been a long time coming anyways, but imagine being the court assigned tard wrangler for CwC who he has to check in with on a weekly basis.
