Julay retardation aside, the ending that I'm more skeptical of in Christory is the fate and possible ending of 14 Branchland Court. Who knows what will become of the property when Chris gets institutionalized and Barb gets admitted into a care home; whether it will be seized by authorities, thoroughly inspected and cleaned of all hoarded junk and contaminated furniture + appliances + fixtures, and renovated just for foreclosure, or left to the elements via nature and time.
If the former were to happen, all that hoarded stuff, including Chris' will be seeing its final moments inside a landfill, eventually waiting for the incinerator. Here's to hoping that Chris doesn't find out about that, for it might incur one big tard rage that Christory might possibly witness. For the latter, nature will take its course to take over and degrade the home, one piece of lumber at a time. Curious individuals will eventually find the property vacant and would try to find a way in. I can see some doing so just to explore what the rooms look like before that infamous day.
