One sad (and infuriating) side-effect of the Idea Guy saga and its fallout has been that going forward, the way was opened for bad actors to do infinitely worse things to Chris by fucking with his already warped mental state. At the height of that saga, the Idea Guys got Chris to send them thousands of dollars, forced him to physically abuse Barb, and forced him to debase himself all by emotionally manipulating someone who is basically retarded. The entire Dimensional Merge bullshit basically happened at the Idea Guys' behest and it's only gotten worse since then.

The fallout from this was that the door was left wide open for further abuse by bad actors, since ways past Chris's defenses were found and, predictably, bad actors were pulling in even as the likes of Null and Marvin actively tried to run interference, with shitheads like the Teen Troon Squad. We were always going to, going forward, wonder if the latest bout of erratic behavior from OPL was something he thought to do himself, something he was put up to via emotional manipulation and blackmail, or some combination of the two.

With this thing coming to light, I'm reminded of the above. We won't know a damn thing until Law Enforcement gets done, but it behooves all of us to remember that Chris, for all his flaws and failings, is still someone who's been repeatedly subject to campaigns to warp his worldview and get him to do what people want. He was already abused into physically attacking Barb once, and he had a tearful fucking breakdown because people held the little world of make-believe he created for himself hostage.

If it does turn out he did this, and it doesn't turn out he was put up to it by outside actors, I'm going to be fucking stunned.

I'd like that to be the case, but he's admitted to his own incestual desires before and even if he was being forced, coerced, or otherwise put up to this or that call... Chris is a godawful actor. He effortlessly went into great detail about what he did. If he didn't want to do that there'd be a lot of very obvious pauses and stutters and his voice would be strained. He wasn't strained here, he was bragging.
This could all be the culmination of what happens when all these bad actors fuck someone up beyond repair, but it was still all in Chris's hands in the end.

I think Barb was more worried that Chris actually finding a girlfriend would lead to him ultimately moving out. Remember that she basically trained that boy to be subservient to her and he also was her goodwill bargain hunting ticket with the tugboat. Alternatively, Barb may simply not have wanted a third person around the house, because a billion unhousebroken pets and Hoard 2.0 were taking up enough space as it was.

Did they move Barb to a home now or is she still at 14BC (that house is Before Christ)? I assume one good look inside by a social worker or somebody in charge would just deem it inhabitable for anybody and just order it to be condemned.

Last I heard nobody can go there now as it is a crime scene or suspected one. They took her to get medical care Id imagine they will be tending to her at the hospital for a few days. Who knows what condition she was in (ie: malnourished, dehydrated, hurt) I am sure there are a list of tests they do for suspected sexual and elder abuse.
